Awful service, awful management! We placed an order online for a churrasco, a crema de queso, and a pizza de chorizo for our dinner, we only received a partial order, the pizza was missing which was the meal of one of us… we called the restaurant and the waitress tried to blame the driver which obviously wasn’t responsible because the bag was closed with the items inside, so they packed it with the missing item obviously, after I explained to her that the driver wasn’t responsible she told me that we all are human beings and those things happen and she asked me to go and get it myself! (Clearly if I order a delivery it’s because I can’t go in person!!) She didn’t care at all, I requested to speak to the manager and she came back to the phone and told me, that the manager was “busy” and that I would have a credit for a pizza whenever I got there! So we couldn’t have our dinner and they don’t care. My recommendation: stay away from this awful service and management if you don’t want a really sour experience and most of all, BE AWARE don’t order online ever! Nos falto la pizza y la respuesta del restaurante fue culpar al chofer y decirme q la fuera a buscar en persona, el manager ni siquiera nos quiso atender en el teléfono y mando a decir q el estaba ocupado y q me dijeran que si queria q cogiera un crédito para el dia q quisiera, q pasara por la pizza, a ninguno allí le importó q nos quedamos sin comer y el trato fue deplorable, al manager no le importa obviamente ni la reputación del restaurante cuando ni atendernos quiso. Mi recomendación, con ese servicio al cliente tan nefasto, si no quieren mortificarse y pasar un mal rato, no vayan a este restaurante y sobre todo No ordenen delivery jamas!!!! Porque ellos NO responden por lo q te dejen de mandar y no le importa si te quedas...
Read moreLast night I made the monumental Mistake of ordering food from Polo Norte in kendall. I place my order at 8:23 pm and Grubhub arrived at my home nearly at 10:00 pm. I cannot blame the gentleman that brought the food because it was the restaurant's disorganization and rudeness that caused the problem. As I contacted my delivery person, he proceeded to explain that every time he would go up to ask for my order, he was rudely told to get in the back of the line, he tried to explain even with me on the phone this was a delivery for a customer. Their jobs are literally hanging on by a thread! I couldn't understand what the problem was so I called, spoke to Thalia who turned out to be the rudest person and not good at representing this business. After calling several times apparently got tired of me calling and proceeded to say vulgar profanities at me, then slammed the phone. I called to cancel my order but again more profanity and wouldn't listen. The poor man that showed up at my home was elderly and so embarrassed. He felt his job would be in jeopardy and was more than apologetic. I felt horrible for him. He explained he line was huge and although he and several other delivery companies tried to get their orders for delivery all were rudely sent back into a long line. Perhaps a line for regular pick ups and a line for those who rely on their jobs as delivery people would be a good idea. Needless to say soggy fried fish is not appetizing so I had no dinner and WAISTED $ 32.14 on fish chunks and a small soup I threw it all out because it was not edible. It is unfortunate that during these difficult times I feel compelled to write this. However, profanity and food almost 2 hours late is unacceptable. Read moreI will start with the fact that I was kept at the entrance of the restaurant for more than 10 minutes, with only a few guests at the tables. No one approached me or even bothered to ask what I needed. My girlfriend then decided to go ask someone if we were able to sit. The answer of the waiter was “we’ll see if we can get you one, oh there! you can take whichever one” by only pointing at the table and not taking us physically there. She didn’t introduce herself which is kind of rude.
We eat here pretty frequently and were always welcomed with garlic bread, not this time. My girlfriend’s ”crema de queso” came cold and my black beans watery. The waitress never bothered to pass by and ask if we were okay or wanted something else.
She picked up our finished plates almost at the end of our visit. It’s unpleasant to have extra plates no longer needed and taking space on the table. The napkins, napkin wrappers, straw papers and cracker wrappers were never picked up, not even after we got up and left.
I was so upset I didn’t even want to give tip. I get tips where I work and know how important it is to offer good service. She honestly didn’t deserve any but I gave her about 8% of what we spent.
Right when she picked up the check we got up and left. We saw her show a coworker our receipt and say “esto no alcanza pa’ na’” and both started laughing. Her name was Ana T. She should learn more about good...
