Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Florida

Today's date is June 11,2024 around 12:30 p.m. I entered the Popeye located across the street from the Hard Rock Casino address which is 7430 East Hillsborough avenue upon entering the facility staff did not greet it seems like everyone was upset when I proceed to place my order I ordered the signature meal three-piece combo I was told by the cashier daviesha that I could not get two legs and a wing I told her that whenever I ordered that's the only meal that I get and I was should be able to get it if I'm paying at least $14 for the meal she stated that if I ordered an extra leg it would charge me separate I told her that the three piece combo comes together she proceeded to say no that it didn't so she went to get another worker and the other worker stated the same thing so when I told the lady that wasn't fair that if I'm going to purchase and pay for I should be able to pick the pieces of chicken that I want words were passed back and forth then another lady came in from who was working the drive-thru window so when I proceeded to tell the young lady I did not want the food that I will go to the other Popeyes on the other side of East Hillsborough they stayed at goodbye and go there I told him that they could not talk to me that way this is a business they stated that it was franchise and they didn't care that it was a Church's Chicken up the way that I could go there and get chicken so when I asked for the manager she wouldn't come from the back she yelled out I'm busy I told her all I wanted was the store number because I was going to report these young ladies and she she continued to yell I'm busy and I'm not coming this is not how customer service is supposed to go with restaurants these ladies acted as if they own the Popeyes and they own the chicken the customer service there is very very poor I have family that owns Popeyes in North Carolina and he was on the phone with me when all this altercation was going on and said that this is not how Popeye's conduct business they are to honor what the customer says yes sometimes the customers can be a little rowdy but when the employees come back towards you to start confrontation and that's what it seems that it was going to be so I continue to walk out the store and all the ladies would yell bye bye. Their actions were very rude and inappropriate I will never go back there again to get food I'm just following this complaint that's the only Popeyes that is located across from the casino whoever the owner is your employees need to be trained properly on how to treat the customers if we are spending our money papa is one of the highest chicken restaurants there is and yes most of the time the food is good but the customer...

I went to this popeyes today and had a oweful experience. I got to the line around 2:33pm. Finally put in my order and paid for it. They immediately told me to pull forward and park. The car before me also pulled forward and parked and waited. After waiting for over 13 minutes, I notice the other cars has gotten their order and left, until this on white trucks pulls up to the window and immediately pulls to the parking spot where me and this other guess has been waiting. To my surprise a lady employee came out and went straight to that white truck that has been waiting for only one minute and gave them a big order. At that time i knew something was fishy going on. I knew that was my order. Then she went back in and came back out and gave that same white truck more food, and then when she went in about 2 minutes later a guy came out and gave the car in front of me their order finally. Then I got out the car and told him did y'all forget my order and he said they will be right there. After waiting 7 more minutes I gave up and went inside and asked the lady that I saw give that big order to that white truck that only waited 2 minutes with me and that other car she took my recipt and said not a word. It took for me to day something to her for her to respond and her response was I should had been giving you your food. And she was half way looking at me and looking down at tge ground First of all when you give people their food you are suppose to make sure the receipt matches up. It was noticeable that she was hooking up a friend and when I finally left it was 3:21pm. Now I'm going to try my very best to make sure people like this be accounted for and I'm going a little bit higher next time to make sure they close this place down or change staff that care about their customers because without people like us who is buying food , then they would be unemployed. All I ask is for food at a reasonable time. That's all. Everytime I come here it's always something. Next time I will ho to kfc or churches chicken. At least it isn't a long wait. Churches chicken never have mwaiting and alwayd gets the order right. I give this popeyes a 0 in rating. Because it's always something wrong with thus...

Unbelievable! This place has the worst management, the worst staff and unbelievably horrible managers. So I go to the drive through and I was told to wait, I waited 10 minutes. I said hello repeatedly no answer, blew the horn no answer, so I decided to call the store and no answer so I drove up behind the blue pick up at the window, stepped out of my car and i waved at the manager who was chilling giving away free food in a lobby that should have been closed and she told signaled to some one to take the call. So some kid takes the call slurring his words and I told him what I needed. I finally get to the window and a freak with long but length wig opens the glass and was rude from the start. She did not have my order and when I told her what I wanted she seemed bothered. I explained to her that I had been waiting and her response was “I said it was ok when she told me that she’s be right with me”. Mind you when the drive through window opened the smell of marijuana came into my car. They were in there having a party on franchise money and time while I waited. So she told me the soda machine did t work and she couldn’t serve soft drinks and that she was dealing with an issue inside. She was given my order but did t hand it to me … she said she’s be back and never came back to the window, some one else came to the window and the manager was inside throwing a fit. The person that came to the window did not provide me an amount or give my food either she proceeded to tell me I was holding them up from closing in a rude way. I lost it and told them I was calling corporate and reporting the store. The manager came to the window and told me to go ahead and call because it’s her mom who’s the manager lolz . I just drove off and just didn’t want to deal with these ignorant kids.

I literally saw them unlock the door in their restaurant and hand food to some people and it seemed like they were all partying together.

I’m very disgusted that I had to endure such low class behavior and no apology , no food and waste my time. This is the Popeyes across from the hard rock casino.
