The service was so atrocious it takes away from the entire dining experience. My mother ordered the nacho fries, and it came at least five minutes after our food…ok, so it should be the most prepared thing on the table…but it was missing two of the ingredients listed on the menu…beans and corn salsa. Beans are important as they are the protein included with this dish. She sat patiently and waited as we finished our meals and was only able to bring it to our servers attention when he came to clear our plates at the end of the meal because of his inattentiveness. He said he would ask the cooks if they forgot the two main ingredients (like they’re going to admit they messed up so badly on a meal they prepared) and as recompense the server came back with what was basically a small stainless steel shot cup with beans and corn salsa mixed in, as if that makes the entire meal that had now been sitting on the table untouched for at least thirty minutes okay. There was a literal countable amount of beans and corn in the cup when my mom poured them onto her dish. She asked for a box then decided she did not want to take it home, as fries covered in lettuce and sour cream is not reheatable, which seemed to annoy our server, and he only glanced at her and walked away as she said she was very disappointed in the meal. How he could be annoyed with us, the patrons, for pointing out one of the four meals was not what was ordered is beyond me. The clincher: my brother ordered a to go meal, which was brought to the table and sat for ten minutes until the server came back and switched his two styrofoam boxes with one box, which when opened contained the chicken piccata he had ordered. We have no clue what was in the first two boxes the server brought out, but I wish we could have found out had we left a bit sooner. The server was the burly, heavy set man with the red beard, as someone else who had terrible service by him described him. Gulags in Russia have better service; do not go to this...
Read moreCame in last night with 6, Saturday night at 8pm. This place advertises they're open until 2am. All tables were open, and there were about 6 people sitting at the bar. After settling in, a very disgruntled guy with a beard brought us menus. I said, "Sorry, but we'll have 2 more smaller groups joining us, I think we will be like 12 total." Before I even got to the number, he cut me off and said, "you guys really should have called ahead, even with this." We said we understood and are fine with any wait. He then said, very passive aggressively, "Yeah, not like you couldn't have just gone to Carraba's and eaten there with your group." I asked, "Do you want us to leave?" He said, "No it's fine, whatever "
Obviously, we were not going to stay after being treated SO rudely, and who knows what they would've done to our food... So Sally's lost out on $1,000 tonight, which we gladly spent at Sonny's. Absurd treatment without even a greeting, crazy passive aggressive behavior, huge business loss for a group that's regularly...
Read moreWhen they said “hidden gem” they really meant hidden. We had to circle the parking lot a couple times, but I’m glad we finally found it. It’s beautiful inside. You wouldn’t think from the look on the outside. Tucker was friendly and accommodating to us. The drinks were awesome and the food was great! I had Coconut shrimp and Fish & Chips. They were amazing alone but the London Pub Malt Vinegar was icing on the cake. They were nice, crispy and not oily. I had a Pink Starburst Martini and those are my favorite starbursts. It taste just like it, too. The next drink was the Pineapple Flirtini. I’m not big on sweet drinks, but these weren’t watered down, so they were affective! We played on the cork dart board. It was nice to score ourselves with chalk instead of the typical electronic board. I would...
