Sno Hut — Restaurant in Florida

The Sno Hut is a lovely spot to visit and grab a bite when it's sunny out and you're jonesin' for some good old American food and treats. While I'm particularly fond of their Italian ice selection, they also have gelati, sno cones, and soft serve. While the food selection is nothing compared to their dozens of options for sweet snacks, I always grab a hot dogs and some of their fresh fries cooked in peanut oil. Delicious! The venue is small, with a walk-up window and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has individual covering, but I wouldn't recommend it for rainy weather. Overall, the small building and table set-up is very tropical and fun, with palm trees, grass awnings, and bright colors. It fits in with the Florida atmosphere of all of Merritt Island. The owner is super friendly, the food is excellent, and the staff is on their A game. I love the hotdogs 🌭, French fries, and the ice cream & sno cones are awesome! 👌 I personally love the cherry dip soft serve cone with sprinkles. It would take me a year to try every variety of fare! Absolutely love the outdoor seating section and that they have ample parking. Conveniently located in the Ross/Home Depot Plaza, right behind (EAST of) the Mobile gas station and food mart. I never thought I would find snowballs like the ones in Baltimore until I found this place. They shave the ice just right, they have the real marshmallow topping, a wedding cake flavor which tastes like an Italian almond cookie, and I just learned they make their own chocolate for the chocolate flavor snowballs. Next up: chocolate snowball and marshmallow topping!! Thank you SnoHut! They have great Italian ice and custard as well (mixed together makes a nice gelati). Large menu selection....
