Señor Tequila Mexican Grill - Westchase — Restaurant in Florida

My family and I have been coming to the westchase location since it opened and it’s sadly gone downhill. Service hasn’t been great the past few times we have been in, but we love the food enough to give it another shot on Valentine’s Day. We arrived at 2 pm and there were only a few other guests dining. David took our order without writing it down, our appetizer came out 1 minute before the entrees and David decided to disappear after that without giving us a heads up. Our fiesta quesadilla came out wrong bc he chose not to write it down and no one came back to check on us after food was brought out. Madeleinne took over apparently without letting us know. We asked 2 people to send our server over because no one checked on us, we wanted to make a Togo order as well. Madeleinne left our drinks empty and table cluttered while we waited for our delayed Togo order. She also said Davids shift was over. My grandmothers fiesta quesadilla came out wrong AGAIN missing rice and beans???? When we asked to speak to the manager, we were told they would be in later for dinner???? My grandma called hourly that night and no manager called her back. She finally received a call back today, February 17. The “manager” said he runs 3 locations and offered her a free appetizer over the phone. Even though it was the fiesta quesadilla that came out wrong. Expected more on Valentine’s Day when it wasn’t busy. I’m sure when we go to use the free appetizer it won’t actually be valid bc it was verbally told...

This location has always been my go to for Mexican but after today we will NEVER return. Placed a takeout order & when we got home & unpacked it, the fajita container wasn't closed correctly & had spilled all over the bag, the dish with all the fixings for the fajitas was smashed and there was no fajitas in the bag. If there had been they were under all the fajita grease & chicken that had spilled into it. The chimichanga dish was also smashed because rather than use 2 bags, they stuffed 3 dishes, chips & salsa and a queso dip into one small bag. They also charged us 6.50 for a queso dip because we asked for extra sauce on the chimichanga. We have never been charged for a queso dip when asking for extra in the past, nor were we told we would be when placing the order. We immediately called to tell them how we recieved our food and after being hung up on 5 times, all they could say was I'm sorry. One person spoke to a a Manager to see if she would refund us & the manager would only do that if we we brought all the food back, she expected us to drive 25 minutes back to bring her back a greasy bag with spilled food & smashed containers. We will never return here again and will spread the word about the manager. She apparently needed the $45.00 more than doing right by a customer. The fact that they allowed take out to leave the resteraunt like that shows just how little they care about the quality of the food they are serving to...

I walked in for a late lunch or early dinner after work. I walked in and sat at the bar. No one was around and I was the only customer at the bar. No one was behind the bar . After about 3 minutes a young man walked up to me to my left and asked me how many. I said how many what? Apparently he wanted to know how many people were with me. So I looked to my right and my left and I said just me. After about another 3 minutes he went behind the bar and gave me a menu. I asked for a glass of Cabernet and he seemed confused. 5 minutes later I got the Cabernet and I sat there for another 5 minutes after that because apparently he wasn't the bartender. When the bartender came up she did not say hello at all and was unfriendly completely. All she asked was if I was ready to order yet. I only wish I knew I was ready because it took a while after that. When she came back I ordered the chimichanga and although the chicken was good the cheese looked like a sheet of plastic on top as it cooled off and the small handful of rice they gave me was cold. Never asked if the food was good. Didn't even see anyone again until I put my card on the bar. At that point they didn't ask me how anything was either. I'm not coming back here....
