Shakra's Deli — Restaurant in Florida

My Dad and I had a late lunch early dinner on this day. The young girl that helped us was very friendly, she apologized for all the chair's on the tables because she was sweeping and moping prior to our arrival. There were no other customers except us and we chose the booth. The food is amazing, the FF with gravy is my Father's FAV! I also purchased a neon pink tank top with thier logo (see photos), cost $15. I was going to give a 5 star review but if you look at my photos you'll see the only other person there was the cook? I was not exactly happy with him because he had his cell phone connected to his ear, (before during and after) he never made eye contact the entire time we were there! He made our Sandwiches while on his phone, and I have to say our Sandwiches were not "browned" they were light brown at best. Then while were eating he moved from behind the counter to the booth right behind us STILL on his phone! In fact, he NEVER put his phone down! I hope he reads this and realized how customers are distracted and even a bit irritated while trying to eat. He never, acknowledged us at all, my Father even said he was surprised at that and he likes to eat here while it was my very 1st time here and it didn't leave a good taste in my mouth...

Preferred 2 meals through DoorDash. DoorDash did their job to the highest standards however when DoorDash arrived with my order only the sides came. I called the restaurant for an explanation and was told that they were out of Meatballs so I was refunded. Yes!!! I was refunded however the entire time I’m expecting my meal to show up the restaurant only sent the sides that I ordered. I would think in that situation, the proper thing to do would be to call the customer and say “ Hey we are out of what you ordered. Is there anything we can substitute it with or would you like to just go ahead and cancel the entire order” But, that’s not what happened. Instead I received a partial order which did me no good without the rest of it. That’s bad service. I didn’t even know I was refunded until I called them when my order came incomplete. Call me picky if you want but if I’m paying you, I should’ve been given the option to either substitute or cancel my order altogether and not pay $36 for an order of French fries and tuna without the most...

This was my third visit. I love it more every time I go. I love really good tuna sandwiches. I’m very picky about what they’re made with. Shakra’ deli has a tuna sandwich that I drive all the way from Fort Pierce for. Amazing! We also tried the burger and steak fries with the gravy that they are famous for…delicious! It’s really laid-back inside. Seems like a good place to go chill out and watch a game. Eat some dinner or have lunch. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel valued. So this time when I went to Shakra’s, I had the Special Italian Supreme, it’s in the picture ! The sandwich was so scrumptious, you could taste every flavor in the bite. And the waitress brought me out this special dipping sauce. It’s in the picture. Oh my goodness so it’s like a tradition in their family to dip the sub in the dipping sauce and they say you’re not eating it unless there’s juice running down your chin.
