Shaughnessy's Sports Grill — Restaurant in Florida

The waitress made so many mistakes and did not put an effort to write down. Very nervous, seems like it was her first time serving deaf people. We did not complain. We reminded her again. Two of us told her to relax it’s ok. Foods were not the best. We did not complain. Then the owner started screaming at us deaf people. Screaming does not make us understand, we are Deaf. We even gave the waitress good tip, over 25% and one gave her $15 tip for $14 dinner. When it was calm, I wrote down explaining that the waitress made many mistakes and yet we gave great tips. What was your beef? The owner refused to read and started yelling at us then kicked us all out saying we aren’t welcome anymore and never come back. He screamed at me. I said we are Deaf and screaming doesn’t help. He threatened us (verbally as if we understand him, not) and screaming and gesturing us to get out while we were already on our way out. The owner also refused to read and write. Refused to put on captions on tv. We never complained and mind our business. We definitely felt humiliated, threatened and discriminated. We were polite and kind. What should we do and let the owner hurt belittle or maybe mock us Deaf people? Would it be wrong if I ask you all not to go to this restaurant? Literally the most disgusting a burger and onion rings I have ever had. The burger was so greasy, and practically raw. It took eight napkins to dab the grease off of it to make it remotely edible. For the record, I took about three bites and returned my entire plate. Onion rings were cold, like they had been pulled off of somebody else’s plate and cooked in 3 month old grease. Upon returning my plate of food, The waitress who did not introduce herself to me, took my plate and did not even offer to give anything else when she saw that I had not eaten anything on my plate nor did she offer me any sort of compensation. I paid my bill, still tipped the waitress and left. Do not recommend, and I will never return.Don’t waste your time...

I use to eat here about 2 years ago and just came back for a visit. The place has gone way down hill. They charge outrageous prices for the amount of food and the quality that you receive. $12 for a small pile of nachos with cheese and meat on top. That’s it. No sour cream no lettuce no tomatoes and the portion was very small. Sent it back. My veggie burger had only cheese! They would even put lettuce or tomato on top of the burger. There are wayyyyy better place around town to get good good. Also, the restaurant had a bad odor. It was all around a gross experience. Won’t go back...
