Ok folks, another honest review. So Sioux City Steakhouse in New Port Richey, Florida. 1st time visit. I so really wanted to brag about my great experience here, but it fell short this time. First, let me tell you the good! Great greeting when you walked it. The hostess was very friendly. Seated in just a minute or 2. The server was, just, pretty good. He was friendly and got our drinks right away. We were looking through the menu items for a few minutes before he came back to take our order. I wish he had given us the meal specials and the drink specials. But guess he was too busy for that. Regardless, he took my wife's order of steak and shrimp fajitas and mine which was a full rack of BBQ ribs. Having driven by this restaurant 100's of time and the air smelling amazing is the reason why I wanted ribs! The rolls were delivered 1st. Amazing!!! Holy moly I could of eaten a full dozen of these hot, puffy rolls smothered in cinnamon butter! They were really good! About 10 min later food was delivered with a smile! I was ready to dig in! My wife's fajitas were sizzling happily and my ribs were adequately warm. It sorta went downhill from there, unfortunately. Ugh. I'm sorry Sioux City! The fajitas needed something to spiffy them up. The steak was tough and almost had no seasoning, the shrimp were tender and cooked great, but again, no seasoning on them either. It was just, blah. The fajitas came with yesterday's rice and beans, the onion and peppers were very very good but the shredded lettuce was wilted and possibly already made up in a small dish that sat all day, uncovered in a fridge. Diced tomatoes and cheese were subpar and enough to maybe one and a half fajitas. Moving on. The ribs. Ugh. Maybe a 4 on my scale. For a $24 rack of ribs, they were about 6 or 8 inches long, and definitely not a full rack. A rack of ribs is, filling up the plate with ribs and having them hang off the plate. For my dish to hold a full rack of ribs, a cup of coleslaw and a cup of beans and have enough room to add another 2nd rack to fill the plate up with? Ok, you get the picture. Why so stingy? I don't get it. The beans were just typical and if it was restaurant made coleslaw it certainly tasted like food service, pre-made out of a container. Also, the ribs were made earlier in the day. The edges were dried out and you can tell it was the end of the night for my rack. The bbq sauce was very good. Would I try Sioux City again? Oh man. Maybe. But it's going to be a while. Maybe I just came too late in the day (about 730pm) and/or just an off night for the restaurant. I will possibly have an update to this review later on this year. Hey, still give them a try! You might pick a better menu item and have better luck! The place is always busy so it cannot be...

Read moreThe management here are unbelievably rude, horrible people! They humiliated my family! We came there three or four times a week. When it got time to pay we couldn't find our card. The last time we used it was there! We asked if they had it in the lost and found, they said no.We had left it there and when I asked if we could leave something and come back because it was Sunday and we just left church and I would have to go cash a check at amscot with the money from the account because they don't take checks, they had the nerve to treat us like thieves and tell us they had to hold one of us hostage there while the other got the money when we had our young children with us!!! They wouldn't let us leave something proving identification or a phone or anything like every other place in the world would have done! And everyone was staying at us. Out children were so embarrassed my kids were crying in the car on the way home. Oh and come to find out they had my card in the back and even though I described the card perfectly, (it's a tip card from my work, not a regular credit card) because there isn't a name on it I had to go into my app to pull up numbers just to get my card returned to me! So I could pay! It's a purple card and it's not a credit card! It's not a common card! But that part isn't what made me mad. It was the fact that we spend about a thousand dollars a month there eating and get treated like trash. She talk to me like I was some kind of criminal! And In front of my kids! Even my children was in shock! They were so mean and uncaring, cold, and cruel! I will tell everyone I know how they really are. It's really sad because the food and servers are really great but apparently the people that run it don't care anything about the customers! To do that to a family on Sunday in front of their kids was absolutely disgusting! And don't let me forget to mention that the manager literally threw the card on the table, didn't order to run it so we could go after we spent three hours there. No. I wish the owner Jon would watch the videos of how we were done. It was absolutely shocking. I told them if I was trying to steal I would have left and they replied that they would have gotten my tag and called the police. Well why couldn't you write down my tag to let me go get the money??!!!...
