Just witnessed a person of color being mistreated by the manager. The girl walked in and she looked like uber. She sat down quietly and tied her shoe. Automatically the manager complained that she was there to fast and that now she has to be in a hurry. The manager was looking at this girl very strange. Then told her to take her foot off the chair. The girl put her foot down and left her shoe untied. Then the woman began to complain about a soda spilling or something and this girl did it. Looking at the girl she looked as if she worked all day and I dont see how a soda spilling was relevant but it seemed like. She had picked up an order before and she spilled a soda which I imagine happens often at these establishments but the lady continued to talk bad about this girl in spanish to another customer. The girl got upset and asked if the manager had a problem and the manager said she couldnt have her foot on the chair. The girl was tying the shoe for god sakes... i felt so bad for her. The girl responded saying she heard her talking about the soda and why was the manager taking badly about her and this manager said "because I can"... the girl looked heart broken. I can only imagine she was being treated this way because she was black and the manager thought she didnt speak spanish assuming the girl wouldn't understand. The girl called the woman racist in english then said its becuase im black in spanish and walked out.
I AM NEVER COMING TO THIS SUBWAY AGAIN. I DO NOT SUPPORT BIGGOTED RACIST ESTABLISHMENTS.
Also I ALWAYS come here and they dont speak english... its ok...
Read moreDisgraceful restaurant. Worst customer service on this planet and manager who doesn't care about that. I was repeatedly called "stupido" by an employee named Maria. She does not speak one syllable of English and consequently she misinterpreted one aspect after another. Maria has a sourpuss facial expression and attitude. It is difficult to believe she was hired in the first place.
My crime was attempting to use a coupon. Maria didn't want to take it in the first place. Mean face and double checking the fine print. Then she intentionally checked me out without giving me the coupon price. When I complained Maria said she could do nothing about it. She waved her arms and ranted to a Hispanic customer, mocking me in Spanish while repeatedly saying "dos dolares" and "stupido." I was indeed saving less than 2 dollars. Yet Maria acted as if she were protecting Subway's bottom line by denying the rate.
The manager Skye Gonzalez didn't give a flip. I was told to visit another Subway far to the west, during a very limited window and with an unspecified discount. What a joke. It was obvious why I was being detoured to another Subway instead of this one: Skye Gonzalez had changed nothing at this Subway and didn't want me to come in contact with Maria or anyone else involved in the incident.
There are never any problems if the employees merely speak a modest amount of English. But the managers don't want to restrict their hiring base so they are more than willing to tolerate...

Niuri or niura i dont even know what her name is because she was yelling so loud at me that i couldn’t even understand her. I walked in with a puppy and instead of being nice, she started to scream at me and ask me if the pet was a service dog. Before i can even answer her question she continued to scream and tell me that i should know better than to bring a pet to any food place that she has dogs of her own and wouldnt dare to do what i did. She continued to rant and scream as i walked out defending myself because she was literally SCREAMING. It was so loud that a customer inside the store offered to hold my puppy outside… the other employee was trying to just make me my order because i was not even going to eat inside as this rude lady kept going at it with me. She claimed to be the “manager” and when i asked her what the store number was so i can contact corporate, she told me “look for it yourself” and “get out of my store already” by far the worse...
