Hispanic music very loud. Everyone speaks on the top of their lungs like they were deaf. I sat facing a tv that was constantly running a suicidal advertisement )something you don’t want to hear or see when your are having a sit down dinner, very depressing). I asked for “Pargo a la plancha “ and it was tasty but I could not eat it because it was over cooked and was very dry. I had to ask for salt and pepper for my salad because there was none on the table, no vinegar or oil either. And to top it all off, the mash potato was also very dry but since there was no oil to soften it up with I had to do with what I had. On the good side the place and the bathroom were clean and the person attending was pleasant and accommodating. Now having said all this I intend to give it another try on another dish. Last night I went with my friends to this restaurant and had a great experience. Today I took my mother for lunch and had a terrible experience. The breaded steak was full of grease and burn inside , it was defrosted on the microwave and got burn in the process. The steam vegetables had so much vinager and tasted like rancid oil. The French fries were cold and sauggi. The service was at the same level . Iliuska took the order , they brought the food and no one soul came around to ask if everything was ok. At the end I had to go to the counter and ask someone to take care of the payment. No opportunity to complain, the other waiter was flirting with another table about “the malecón without sea” in her city in Cuba . Total disaster, it was too good to be true. We had breakfast, and it was great! Not only is the food delicious and served hot, but the portions are large enough to share! If you don't share, chances are you're packing half. The waitresses are kind, attentive and friendly. We've been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner, no complaints. The prices are very reasonable for the portions they offer. Great place, great service, food and prices. Parking can be tricky especially if you intend on parking in front of the restaurant.
