Subway — Restaurant in Florida

I am a combat veteran from multiple combat zones. My elderly father is a Korean War veteran. For the first time in our lives, my father and I went together to get complimentary food on Veterans Day. I was excited about it because my father's military records burned along with a lot of other service members records in the big National Archives fire of 1973. For the first time ever, we were finally able to get my father's DD-214 reconstructed by the National Archives. I saw information in many places on the internet and from news reports saying Subway was giving a free six-inch sub on Veteran's Day. I drove for hours to meet up with my father in North Ft Myers. This was the closest Subway. I called them to confirm the free sub for veterans before we drove there. This Subway in N Ft Myers said sorry, nothing for veterans on Veterans Day. I have absolutely no issue with a restaurant doing nothing for veterans. I do have an issue with a restaurant chain like Subway falsely advertising to news agencies that they are giving a free sub on Veterans Day when it is all a lie. Subway, don't pretend to be generous or care at all about the Americans who fought for your freedoms when all you really want to do is greedily make the next dollar. Subway...

Wouldn't honor coupon but they sent me in a text! I don't think you can go wrong with a tuna sub or a meatball sub from Subway. I received a 2 for $10 text, and called to see if they were open. They were so we went right over. When we got there we ordered our sandwiches, but then they wouldn't honor the coupon, even though I had it right there on my phone because the coupon said they were closed! I showed them the text I showed them where it said they were closed and they went ahead and charged me full price anyway! Very disappointing.

I still love Subway, but since it was the manager who said I had to pay full price oh, I think I'll probably use another Subway from now on. The young lady who waited on me was very nice and the food was great, but I was charged $8 each for two subs that were supposed to be $5 each. I hope he spends that $6 carefully, because it's the last money he'll ever...

So far this is the best subway I've been too. Everytime I come in it fast. Everyones really sweet and most of all they make sure your happy before you leave. This one employee I dont know her name but I got a veggie sub today and she was so nice, she was fast with making the food and she made sure that I had everything I wanted on it. By far the best sub, not to much sauce and just enough veggies its perfect. She deserves a raise. Not only did she make sure I was happy but she made sure everyone that came in was happy. When she didn't have anyone in she went to cleaning and this is by far the cleanest ive ever seen any restaurant. I can in and got my food at 3:08 today I dont know this lady's name but...
