Totally Unsatisfied; Would not Recommend
I highly recommend that you stay far away from this company. What we thought was going to be a pleasant experience, turned into a nightmare once payment was made in full! First and foremost, there is nothing “custom” about them stating they are a “custom made” cabinet company. They DO NOT come out and measure so be sure you measure yourself appropriately. Even though you give them the correct measurements and they draw up the plan, the granite countertop was still not the correct measurement and our other granite countertop had huge chunks missing from it. Background: I chose to work with ABC Liquidation after going in and speaking with their saleswoman. I was particularly interested in their claimed ability to deliver timely service (cabinets) with professional and capable design support. A bonus, I thought, was that they could meet my custom designs.
Reality: In my case, working with ABC Liquidation was a disaster -- I received unprofessional service after paying in full up front including, zero to spotty support, follow-up, and follow-through. There was no consideration to my timelines or returning of messages. I had to plead for answers on timeline and extended wait times (total of almost 4 months for bits and pieces). Finally, I was appalled by the rudeness and disregard for customer satisfaction/service by the owner, Peter as well as the designer, Lee.
Particulars: On our first visit (December 4, 2023), I selected cabinets for two bathrooms (one single vanity and one double vanity), granite counters for each bathroom. I provided a number of pictures of the two bathrooms and measurements. Lee and I looked at several granite counter samples in their showroom. She provided the costs of both bathrooms. Sitting at her desk, Lee roughly figured the cost of the cabinets and counters based on my measurements which was approximately $3700 range. I was so confident that all would work out well, that I provided a check for the purchase of cabinets, and counters in full as required with the understanding we could not get cabinets until January. This also did NOT include installation. Due to what I thought at the time was great customer service, we decided to also move forward and order cabinets for our kitchen on 12-14-23 and that cost was $6504. Our cabinets were supposed to be delivered on 1/10/24-they came on 1-11-24 (no biggie) without the countertops. We received (bathroom) countertops shortly after and by 1-23-24, I reached out to Lee to find out when someone would be coming out as promised since the holes in the granite were incorrect with our new faucets that we ordered and she stated she would get back to me. Fast forward to 2-28-24 and THEY still HAVE NOT come to get countertops to fix, (we have discovered that one of them were too short and the other had huge chunks missing on the one side where the sinks go. I received messages from Lee that they are too short on help, there is an emergency with the owner’s wife, ALWAYS an excuse. On 2-29-24 they came to pick up the countertops since my husband had to go in and raise hell. It is now 3/27/24 and we are still waiting for our countertop to be delivered. Christina from ABC called on 3/26/24 and stated it will be delivered on 3/27 between 10:30am and 1PM. NOTHING-after two phone calls on 3/27, my husband called them and now will be delivered on Friday 3/29. The delivery and pick up guys were completely unprofessional and even spoke unpleasantly of their managers. When going in and speaking to Peter (owner) in February, there was no apology for the poor service, nor any acknowledgement or assurances that he was going to help get my project back on track. He simply stated he would look into it and had no idea who we were or what countertops were missing. It has taken almost three months to get anything...
Read moreI have ordered a Vanity and Lien closet over two weeks ago. I was told the vainty and Lien closet would be delivered 2 Sundays ago. I waited until Monday thinking maybe there was a delay. I didn’t start calling until Wednesday to give time to inform of any delays or issue that may have come up. I never received a call so I called ask about my order EVERY SINGLE TIME I called I was told Andrew is bro available and spoke to a woman the warehouse owner. At this time I was very nice and said okay I was told the message would be given to him and he would get back to me. Thursday I called again Andrew wasn’t available and I was told by the warehouse owner she has no orders in Andrew will call me Friday. No Call Friday. Friday afternoon I called and explained who I was I’ve called several times now and no one has given me a curtsey call to update me on my order that should have been in delivered two weeks ago. I have had nothing but patience and have been kind until I sounded annoyed in the phone Friday and let the owner of the warehouse know “ that I have had poor customer service no update on my order and I will be disputing the charges on my card” she was nice and stated she will check in my order finally I felt I was getting somewhere. She came back to the phone and stated that they are waiting on a part that should be in Monday I’ll get a call. Well here we are Tuesday 4:30pm no call. I called the ware house few minutes ago to be told Andrew is off today!!!!! I’m so annoyed and frustrated. I have been nothing but patient and kind I’ve given extra days to see if I will get a call because I don’t want to harass them. I have 1,400 dollar order that no one can give me an update on. I was told would be here two weeks ago! As I stated in the phone my frustration comes from the lack of customer service that I am recieving. What if I hired and installer to be here two weeks ago and the item wasn’t ready?! Again two weeks no notice until I threaten to dispute the charge and not even then did the OWNER which is a woman I cannot remember her name I’m so annoyed. So disappointed because I thought I found some where I can order for my kitchen remodel!! I will not do business...
Read moreI hate writing bad reviews, but unfortunately, this one has to be public. At the beginning of July, I came in and purchased a bathroom vanity and countertop. When I came in the store to purchase, she showed me the countertops and cabinets I would be receiving. I said okay, and paid in full. I didn’t know the exact measurement so I told her that I would let her know in the next couple of days, which I did and she said no worries. It was just supposed to be a tad bit shorter. They told me that the counter would be ready in 3 to 4 weeks, no problem. About 6 weeks later I hadn’t heard anything from them and reached out. Even though I text the sales person, they said sorry we have no record of that, but we can make that happen. In the meantime, I reached out a couple more times and they assured me that everything was being taken care of. I finally went into pick up my vanity/countertop when they told me it was ready on September 23rd. I walk in the lady tells me the old measurement; so I correct her and say actually it was supposed to be changed. They said oh yeah yeah yeah we changed it. No worries. Pick up the cabinet. Bring it home to where I have a measuring tape just to realize that they never fixed the issue. On top of that when I arrived, the quartz looked much different than what I was shown and took a photo of upon purchasing. I didn’t say anything when I was in store because there had been so much back-and-forth and it was just uncomfortable at this point. So now I am stuck with a quartz countertop that doesn’t fit my bathroom and is not the same quartz that I was offered when I purchased it both huge issues. I was going to remodel my kitchen cabinets with them, but because of this experience, I will not and I can not recommend them to anyone else.
Photo of countertop that was supposed to be 59 inches and is 59 1/2, and because my countertop does not fit between the two walls at that length, I will have to figure out how to move forward.
