UNBELIEVABLE ❗ Do you remember the old days when you received that ice cream cone and the price was inexpensive AND there was an abundance amount of ice cream? Well, welcome to Surfin scoops❗ IT IS EXACTLY THAT.❗ They serve your regular type of ice cream as well as exotic Creations. The reason I don't have pictures is that the ice cream is sooo good, I just dive right into it. ( I promise I will remember ha, ha, to take pictures next time( j think I've said that 20 times we've gone there since opening.)October? Josh is the owner and his parents help him out when their line of customers (always)are too long for him to do himself. Did I mention the mini 9 hole golf you can play there? Also keeps the children occupied while you wait to order! It is worth the small price you pay to keep your kids busy. The golf section is right next to the outside counter to keep an eye on them. ALSO, there are large bench tables with canopies to keep you dry. There is so much more to tell you about them but space it running out. ONE SUGGESTION that I wish they would RECONSIDER is their SIGNAGE. Right now they have Christmas lights up to find them but normally it's very dark to see them. They have small lights on that you will pass the place like we do every time. YOU MUST VISIT HERE before you choose the expensive hershey Ice Cream place or dairy queen. SURFIN SCOOPS have MANY more choices than both of them combined. They are on A1A Ocean shore blvd. In Ormond by the Sea, Turn left from Granada East (towards Flagler)to A1A YOU WILL NEVER GO...

The older man working at the register was extremely rude to my senior grandmother. We were getting ice cream for my 97 yr old grandfather and her. He rushed her, spoke harshly and shut the door even after she gave him a tip, he didn't give her the receipt. We were given the wrong order, I tried telling him the correct order and paying for the items he missed and got wrong instead of fixing the order he YELLED at me.... I replied that I was not trying to argue it was okay and he slammed the door in my face. Then goes to the other door where another senior woman was and was EXTREMELY rude to her too. I tried explaining to the younger guy that the older man was being mean to the customers and to let me pay for the correct orders but he insisted that it was okay. ITS NOT OK. To treat people that way, especially Seniors. The senior woman behind us was concerned and upset as well and told me that it was uncomfortable for her how roughly he spoke. I can't imagine keeping someone employed that doesn't have proper customer service experience...

Our family tried Surfin’ Scoops last night, and we were blown away. 5 of us got brownie sundaes, either 2 scoops, or 3 scoops. They were ginormous servings. For the first time in my life I was not able to eat all of my ice cream. We all picked the ice cream flavor for them as well. They have a list of at least a dozen toppings you can add onto your ice cream as well. The toppings are 45 cents each, but you get a very generous amount, well worth the 45cents. My grandson got a black cherry waffle cone, which he said was awesome as well. To top it off, they have a little putt-putt golf $2 per person as well. Perfect for bringing your young children for a fun time. My daughter posted a picture of my husband and I in her review below! We’ll definitely be...

We visited surfing scoops after dinner at an Imli , an amazing Indian restaurant. We saw it on the way home and decided to wrap it up with ice cream. What a fun experience. It’s an excellent family place right across the beach. They have an extensive ice cream selection and a little mini golf area for the kids to play in. The crowd was friendly and welcoming. We ordered pistachio, and several chocolate varieties. The servings were huge. The mini scoop was more than enough and the single scoop was gigantic. The value was extraordinary. I don’t think anything was over $5.00. Summarily, whether you’re a family thinking about where to take the kids or two couples looking for a casual ice cream stop you can’t beat Surfing Scoops. Enjoy your ice cream.

An absolute gem!!! I have nothing negative to say - our experience was perfect. The building and grounds are cute and clean and the mini golf course was well-kept. The three staff members we met were so kind, easy to talk to, happy to answer questions, and patient with us being first-timers. The mini golf might be underwhelming to some but it was perfect for our family. Our kids are 4 and 2 so the big “fancy” mini golf places are just wasted money on them and frustrating for the adults. This course was just their speed and it kept them entertained while we finished our ice cream. Can’t beat it for $2/person and the ice cream was also a great value and they give generous servings. We will absolutely be back ❤️
