Well I'm a out of towner I come to visit family this the first time I look for a breakfast spot, big mistake. While looking for decent Mexican restaurant I stumble into this place, my dad and I arrived around 10am on Sunday morning at this stablishmet, we expected to eat breakfast and looked thru the menu but it only said it was available on Monday thru Friday, we thought this was odd because restaurants usually served breakfast everyday. So we choose to order something different, we asked the waitress for some coffee and she said they didn't have any ready they have to make it, so we waited for our coffee, when she brought our two cups along with two small plastic container with sugar and left, we believe she had forgotten about our creamer and we called her and she said NO we don't have any creamer and she left, I was unsure in staying or leaving after the awful service. I decided to go and asked them for some milk and she said NO we don't have any milk, I went back to the table and told my day that we were leaving. Before I left I went to her and said "I'm leaving" she didn't know what to say and I continue and told her "I'm not going to pay you my money for this unprofessional service, would like to drink your coffee with no sugar or creamer?" And she said with an attitude " I don't drink coffee" so I said "thanks for everything I'm leaving!" Awful...

Don't let the outside or the location of the place stop you from trying this place out. We were on a hunt for tacos and it was the closest place to us plus we had a coupon. I always love trying new places especially when they don't look like all the other places.

Our waitress was super sweet and helpful and her son was super adorable! We looked up this place before heading that way and what was online was definitely not what we got when we entered. It a real restaurant with some great deals if you go the right days.

So, she bought us out a basket of chips and 3 different amazing sauces/salsa...dont let it fool you....it eventually creeps up on you. The flavors were great. I always base how the food might be on chips and salsa...they passed so I was excited.

My son got the tacos and she recommended I get the corn tortilla quesdilla. When that food came out, you can smell and tell the authenticity of the food. The rice was piping hot and delicious and that corn tortilla!! Omg....get everything corn tortilla!! This is from someone who isn't a big fan of corn at all...I have always been flour girl. But, they make the best homemade corn tortillas ever!! I would highly recommend this place if you want authentic. The restaurant was clean and the service was awesome! We will definitely be back to try...

Edit: The review below was too harsh, I was quite upset about the over charge. I was itching for some tacos last night and didn't want to go far so I caved and went to Olgy's. The service this time was better, and the pastor, asada, poblano mushroom and nopales tacos were all good. The tres leches cake was enjoyable as well and I wasn't overcharged. Furthermore there seem to be two salsas now, red and green, the red is still a bit reminiscent of store bought but the green is really tasty. Also, if you want a full authentic mexican menu the other best taco places in PNS don't have them, so this just might be the best authentic mexican in PNS. Original review: I really want to like this place since I live up the road and love my Mexican food, but they have disappointed me both times I've visited. The food is average at best, the service is horrible, and the main salsa rivals store bought. Today they tried to charged $32 on my card for a $18 ticket. This could have been an honest mistake, but they seemed quite comfortable reversing the charge as if this happens often. I really don't feel right leaving this review, I know people depend on their jobs here, but they need to get it together. Until then I'll trek it...

Seemed very authentic when we entered. I asked if there was a daily special, none. No problem, but we could have been told at that time of what was not available. First two things we ordered were not available. So we re-ordered and got the beef fajitas and a carne asada plate. I had asked for the chile relleno, originally. Got the chori-queso to go with the chips, pretty good. Fajita meat was over salted and greasy. Carne asada was greasy also. The spanish rice (I only say Spanish because it was yellow)had very little flavor, they should just serve white rice. The refried beans were odd as there was a bay leaf in the wife’s but there was very little flavor other than that. Portion sizes were large. It was a Thursday night and we were the only patrons on the non-bar side of the house. Place seems more like a after work beer and a taco place. If I ever go back it will be in that capacity.

By far the best actual authentic Mexican restaurant I have found in town since moving here. The tacos were amazing, small tortilla so you don't get full off of a few and have more. The Carnitas has a good flavor and crispy, about as close as I can get to hometown flavor. The Al Pastor had a nice juicy flavor that you could taste my only question is if they do have the meat on the trompo then it's the real deal. The torta was great, the bread was soft and gave it a good base for the rest. The carne asada and chorizo inside with the great tasting guacamole just complete it. I think I found where we're going to be visiting anytime the craving for good Mexican comes up. Now we just have to try out the rest of the menu.
