Being born outside of the US requires that sometimes we need to eat our ethnic food. First I am very happy that in Pensacola, there are several stores selling ethnic food.
This is store was in an easy location . Of course since it is an Indian store most items were from India . There were other items from different countries . The store looked clean and items were displayed well. I was mainly interested in Turkish food : I know well that the turnover of these stores vary so stores are not always well supplied and it may be hard to find items that one wish to buy. I was able find some items that I wanted to buy such as red lentil, cracked wheat and rice. I was specifically looking for good Turkish olives . Unfortunately most of the Turkish brands were not the ones that I was familiar with . I wanted to try some different olives- they were okay but not the best ones . The price that they charge is higher than regular US store ( understandable) but if I am paying high price , I want the best product . We want to buy the best ethnic food not the cheap and crappy ones. Hopefully they will be able to store better...
Read moreI have been there several times buy all types of products. Wasn’t very happy from the beginning but thought give them another chance but enough now!! As others said everything is too pricey comparing to any other grocery stores. Secondly they don’t put price tag on lot of items so that they can play around with prices. It is a dishonesty and type of Scam!! Thirdly lot of items are expired they don’t care. Lot of products don’t even have production or manufacturer expiry date which absolutely against quality food control policy. Frozen section specially beef and fishes are too old! I have had a very bad experience several times with beefs they said fresh but once you cook you know they lied. They broke my trust. Pricy, dishonesty, expiry products, unprofessionalism I am done business with this store. Not recommended unless you have no choice left!! But I guess if you drive some extra miles you would get better choice! I can’t compromise with business integrity!!!Don not shop...
Read moreUpdate Edit: customer service still needs improvement as does stock levels. They're always out of my corn chevda that I love so much! The customer service needs big improvements, but this is one of the only places in the area that sells cultural food items, so options are limited, which is why we come here. They do have a nice variety of products for cooking and snacking. It's worth noting, however, they do NOT have fresh meats! Everything they carry is frozen! It would be nice if they added a butcher shop where you could get fresh meats. Their prices are on the expensive side, and I noticed the mark up is extremely high! Location is decent. It's located inside a strip mall next to Indian Grill and some other shops. It's easy to miss if you're not...
