The Eatery by Ryan is an absolute gem, both inside and out. The atmosphere was inviting, and we initially chose to sit outside to enjoy the fresh air. Unfortunately, some bees decided to join us, so we moved indoors—but until then, the outdoor seating was really nice. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff making sure we had everything we needed. Now, let’s talk about the food—because it was so good! I ordered a waffle and six wings, opting for plain wings with buffalo sauce on the side. I have to say, these were some of the most delicious wings I’ve had in a long time. The buffalo sauce was incredible, with just the right balance of heat and flavor. I honestly wish I had ordered more! The waffle was also amazing—sweet, with a noticeable cinnamon flavor that made it even better. If you visit, you have to try one. My wife stuck to her go-to, biscuits and gravy with bacon, but she also got a waffle. She loved everything, and it was clear that a lot of care went into preparing each dish. One thing that really impressed me was seeing the owner in the kitchen, cooking away. It’s always great to see that kind of dedication, and it showed in the quality of the food. Overall, this place delivered on all fronts—fantastic food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’m giving The Eatery by Ryan a well-deserved 5 stars, and I can’t wait to go back!

As a die-hard Philly fanatic, born and bred West of the City of Brotherly Love, finding a taste of home down here in Southwest Florida can be...challenging. Fortunately, I discovered The EATERY By Ryan. During my visit, I felt like I was transported straight to the heart of South Philly. You can practically hear the echoes of "Fly, Eagles, Fly!" as you walk in the door. The walls are adorned with enough Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, and Sixers memorabilia to make any true fan weep with joy. Ryan's hustle and grit are evident in both his food and team. With lots of Philly inspired options, you'll have your work cut out to decide what to tackle first. Today, I went with The Cunningham with Breakfast potatoes. It was SUPER, and the only thing that would have BOWLed me over would have been if they had Amoroso rolls (a guy can dream)! The EATERY BY Ryan isn't just a restaurant; it's a lifeline. It's a taste of home, a celebration of Philly pride, and a reminder that even in Southwest Florida, the spirit of the City of Brotherly Love lives on. So, if you're looking for an authentic Philly experience without the drive up I-95, look no further. Just be prepared to have your mind blown and your taste buds transported to another dimension. Go Birds!

The Eatery by Ryan, Alico Mission Wy, Ft. Myers, FL., Here is my 2 cents on the food & chatter. Well I never heard of this place but I got 7% back on a CC. It had fair ratings + served cheese steaks. I went for a cheese steak. I am ambivalent about my choice. It was 11 bucks, 8 inches long. Expensive for the size. Also the chef does his own take on the sandwich. I order a onion, pepper and cheese sandwich. THIS WAS NOT A REAL SANDWICH...WHY? You could NOT hold it in your hands. ( that why they gave you a knife) Off the bat it tasted ok....bbbuuutttttt. Here is what is wrong with Ryan version. He adds mayo whether you want it or not. The bun is very fresh except is is too soft. Adding melted cheese, the whole thing falls apart in your hand. So you have to use a knife and fork to eat it. It was just TOO soggy to hold or eat.(I saved half for later, refrigerated it ,it held and tasted fine except cold.) They had salads, I got a not too shabby tater salad. Except no fries, bags of chips are there Service was great. I also related my concerns to Ryan about his version. So you will have to throw the dice and decide if you wish to try this sandwich.

I go here every week and sometimes 2-3 times and I am astounded by the contradiction in Reviews I read here.

The food is always good quality and well prepared, albeit a somewhat limited menu... I much prefer that to the new owner extending himself past his ability and truly disappointing in consistent performance.

Here's the real deal... from someone who as been around... the place is extremely convenient and I enjoy the small town ambiance!

I can bring my friends dog, a beautiful, inordinately sweet German Sheppard/Husky rescue from New Jersey and they bring out a bowl of water for her! I order her scrambled eggs and people love to pet her, especially the kids, which are in abundance and well behaved.

One grandfather brings his three grandsons for breakfast nearly every morning I have been there and they are accommodated expertly.

The little Café is tucked in a bend of the end of the strip mall, on the opposite end of the Publix anchor and it truly is a little gem, that is now open for Dinner, serves Beer and Wine, Mimosa's and Screwdrivers!

The Owner is an extremely personable young man and although I would not call him a Stud, several ladies have indulged in that commentary!

There are several options, for those that have different needs and requirements... some excellent bakeries in the area... a very nice Diner right down the road, with an enormous menu available... a Cracker Barrel and several Fast Food chains, including a Dunkin' Donuts in the complex!

For those that want a relatively quiet breakfast, lunch and now dinner... please drop by and be sure to say hello to those of us that appreciate the local ambiance!

I am sure that if you had a personal preference, expected to be a regular guest, wrote the reasonable request out on a piece of paper... the young entrepreneur would consider it in his short and long term plans for his new...

I bought a Groupon for this restaurant back in February 2018. I have bought plenty of groupons for many restaurants. Groupons policy with the companies that accept groupons is if the groupon expires for the amount paid the groupon will never expire and the place of business will honor the amount paid. I had gone to The eatery by Ryan last week with my 3 year old son I had mention to the waitress that I had a groupon and that it had expired and I would like to apply the original amount towards the bill she had told me that since it was expired they would not accept it I had told her about groupons policy and she had argued that I was wrong and that it was expired and they do not honor it. Being a small business owner in Ft Myers for many years I had ask to speak with a manager. Ryan the owner came over to the table and rudely in front of several customers and my 3 year old son argued sternly without allowing me to speak that he would not accept and that it was my problem and that I would have to deal with Groupon about their policy. Being a business owner myself I had never once rudely embarrass my customers in front of others. I came in there that day just realizing I had never used the groupons. I am going through a very bad divorce which the ex to be is not paying for anything for me and my children so I thought it would be nice to take my 3year old out for breakfast. In my opinion in not honoring just $11.50 which would not have broke his bank he definitely will not have a customer in me or will I ever recommend his restaurant. Restaurant is not about how good the food is it is about the customer services which this...
