Theo's Seafood and Pasta — Restaurant in Florida

I was here about 2 weeks ago for the first time. I’m all for supporting my own but there’s some things that need to be worked on. There’s a cashier who is extrraaaaa nice, like I made sure I tipped her. But there’s another one bagging the food with a mean mug and straight attitude like you can tell she try to be nice but customer service is not her forte. Why did it take an hour and 40 minutes after my daughter got her food (mind you we ordered at the same time) to get my food. I don’t believe wings, fried shrimp and seafood egg roll take that long to cook. I watched ppl order after me get their food and left. Another lady there got most of her food but had to wait another 30 minutes for corn on the cob. Another lady was there an hour for her food and so on. Not sure the situation in back was but I waited inside the whole time and they didn’t seem overwhelmed by orders coming in, they weren’t exactly moving slow but food just seemed so long to come out. Now when I finally got the food it was just ok. I live in Miramar I wouldn’t drive all the way here for just ok. If I lived in the area, yes I’d come by more often. The wings were mid, something I can make at home, the friend shrimp was really good but that can come from anywhere by my house. Now the seafood egg roll was amazing but it’s not enough to drive all the way here. Also, the chicken pasta my daughter had was really good . I love that ppl in the area are supporting this place and I hope they continue to do so. If I happen to be nearby I’d buy from here before anywhere else...

The 1st time I went it was amazing!! I got the shrimp Alfredo, not many shrimp and the portion size not as large as other places, but it was good! The chicken hibachi rice, good, but the 1st time it at least had some chicken in it, the second time it had 3 small chunks of chicken, NOT CONSISTENT! The flavor is good, but would be MUCH BETTER without the broccoli. The steak and cheese egg rolls were huge and amazing the 1st time, and when I went back, same thing, size much smaller! I Missing garlic toast, and the plain Alfredo I ordered the second time because the shrimp hardly has any shrimp in it, however it was more of a fettuccine with olive oil and a whole bunch of parsley and n by lack pepper! No Alfredo Im sight! I want this place to succeed, but if they don’t step up their game and keep things consistent, just like every other restaurant in the city, starts out great, then either the quality/consistency of the food goes down, or the customer service will ruin a place! I want to like it here, but don’t want to keep wasting money on a mystery dinner…. I’m a creature of habit, so when I order the same exact order 4 days apart and everything tastes and looks much different, including the service, it’s a problem that y’all need to fix now! Don’t let these people ruin your restaurant, we need a place like this down here...

I found this place on Instagram and had to check them out. I've driven by this location and never noticed it. Decided to check them out today and they did not disappoint!!! Walked into a full restaurant with people waiting for their orders. I greeted everyone that was waiting and they ALL greeted me back (because that's how black people was raised).

I then made my way to the counter and received the warmest welcome from the cashier. She noticed me looking around and directed me to today's specials. I order and sat down to wait for my food. While sitting there waiting and enjoying all the black faces working and supporting the establishment, the cashier walked over and handed me a complimentary non alcoholic beverage. It wasn't necessary, but greatly appreciated!

Once my order was ready, which was originally togo....I decided to eat it on the premises. It was absolutely delicious!! Fish was well seasoned and the fries was hot. Not sure what was the beverage she brought me, but it was amazing.

I am so happy I decided to support this location. It's a black owned business and ran very well. There's absolutely nothing they could have done better. Phenomenal first impression!! I will definitely be returning to...
