August 3, 2017. First time. What a good experience. Finally authentic Mexican food. One of the best chicken quesadilla I've tasted. The chicken was seasoned wonderfully, and tender. Finally a place with shredded beef, pork, chicken and more. Tacos were great and not shy on the meat. You have all these restaurants with a twist, sauces so rich you can't finish your meal. Tex Mex, Tijuana Flats a glorified Taco Bell, Just Sume eat at Taco Bell. Chipotle, who asked for all that weird seasoning. Then there's the tacos that taste like Sloppy Joe mix in a tortilla. This was a treat. Lived from New Mexico through to California. You may know a thing or two about Farmers Insurance, but I know a thing or two about Mexican food. The service was great. Ok I just gotta say, the waitresses from different parts of South America were all quite attractive. Now this is not an invitation for you guys to go there and corrupt these girls, they are hard working and here to make a better life. Good people, real food. Also the Market next door has fresh butcher prepared meats, Mexican chorizo and just an abundance from South of the boarder. Believe this market is an extension of the the restaurant. Look forward to another authentic Mexican meal and then some fresh Carine Asada, fresh in house made chorizo from there market...
Read moreI’ve only ordered carry out. They set up a taco truck outside sometimes which is convenient when on the go. Ordering over the phone is also easy; I waited through two busy tones which is no big deal considering they get busy and had a wait time of 15 min for my food.
I’ve had the tacos al pastor, which are AMAZING and the tacos de chorizo, which are my second favorite. I’ve also had the tacos de cecina which personally weren’t my favorite because the meat was too fatty for my liking. Today I had the shrimp cocktail and it was alright. This dish has always been a delicacy so the price is understandable. $15.99 for a large and it had 22 medium shrimps and half an avocado. I personally like my cocktail more on the thick-ketchupy consistency and this one was more soupy, which works well with the saltine crackers. I’d probably buy again in the future tho. The flan was wack. It wasn’t freshly made; it looked premade and came in a cup packaging so it had that “preservative” taste as I reached the bottom caramel. I’m not sure if they made the agua de horchata, but it was amazing.
4 stars for affordability and the taste of tacos and agua de...
Read moreI Ordered a Burrito ,but it was stuffed with just beans meat and rice ,and on my plate more bean and rice ,I did ask for everything in it, DID NOT HAPPEN, felt overwhelmed with the amount of beans and rice,I asked the manager Ruth ,to replace ,or at least discount it ,because I DID NOT EAT IT, and she stated,' the table next to me had no complaints, how ever she stated because some else liked it I would be wasting their product, she charged me full price when I did not want it ,disappointed in the way the manager RUTH handled the situation, BEWARE IF YOU DO NOT LIKE SOMETHING ON THE MENU THEY WILL STILL CHARGE YOU FULL PRICE EVEN IF THEY TAKE IT BACK ! I have been ordering Mexican food though out different city and states for many years ,like California, Mexico,Miami and Florida including NY and this does not compare, not the same concept of...
