June 2022 My teenage daughter and I visited the Vidanta Grand Mayan Riviera and we were very pleasantly surprised. It is a beautifully scenic and vast property with A myriad of Pristine swimming pools with different themes: One is the party/activity pool with dj and live music music, bingo fitness classes, volleyball; A swim up bar; there is a peaceful infinity pool that is surrounded by sand and a laguna where you can look off into the horizon which includes the ocean and then many other pools that are in dispersed around the property some covered by beautiful shady wisteria that are more private. there is a huge lazy river surrounding the property. The resort is located right next to the beach (has its own private beach) where you can play beach volleyball, ping-pong, bocce ball and other activities or just lounge. there is a fun Cuban themed club/ restaurant on the property as well as many other delicious restaurants and fun lively areas such as Live entertainment every night in Salom and also a cirque de Soleil dinner theater. there is also a water park called Jungala on the property. And if this isn’t enough to keep you occupied there are many different tours to choose from. we did Chichén Itzá Tour which is an all day exploration of the Yucatán including the great Mayan pyramids, a Mayan art village where you are fed a traditional Mayan lunch, swimming in the Cenotes and stopping in a colonial town called Piste’ where we were allowed to get out of the bus onto the beautiful historical Plaza where we ate elote (traditional corn with many different fixings to choose from)and churros and listened to live music and entertainment, Watched a parade. The The Cancun Bay company tour guides were superb and spoke several different languages including fluent English (I left an independent review on their Facebook page) and our tour bus was very clean, modern and comfortable. activities can be scheduled with the many different concierge desks locally located around the property. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. In fact I loved this place so much that I actually bought into the vacation membership and we already received a complementary trip offer to a Vidanta Grand Mayan resort of our choice. We will be using this complementary trip in October 2022 to Nuevo Vallarta which I will also post about upon our return. my best advice is to treat yourself to this magical and rejuvenating paradise, take plenty of cash for tips and other beautiful and artistic keepsakes and bug spray ( yes it is a tropical climate and there are mosquitoes). Yolanda Morales from VacationVIP has been so amazing to work with. I booked a promotional package to Cancun last year and then chickened out because of the enhanced US COVID restrictions and decided to postpone my vacation. I just called to re-booked hoping it was not too late and Yolanda was still totally willing to work with me and they held my reservation for this long. Yolanda is very pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, kind and understanding. I am very excited to go on this vacation in January 2022 and will post again after my vacation. Update (1/30/2021): I have once again postponed this much anticipated trip to accommodate my teen who really wanted to come along but could not miss school, so postponed till June. Yolanda, once again, has been very understanding and happy to work with us on yet another change, she has the patience of a saint! Where do I start? I know this was a timeshare package. While most people don't look forward to them, I was actually interested. Charged an additional amount due to "holiday time." Take your money, then tell you there is an income qualification. From the moment we got to Westgate, the check-in staff did not direct us on where to go, and we ended up carrying our bags from one place to another then a guest explained to us how it worked. We went through Vacation VIP to book this and were promised Waterpark tickets after the presentation. We showed up 15 minutes before the presentation and found out that someone had "dropped the ball" at Vacation VIP and Westgate. Find out our tour was not until the day before our checkout, and we had paid planned excursions that day. Spent one and a half hours talking to Vacation VIP and guest services at Westgate, which did absolutely nothing. Jacob from VacationVIP told me I "wouldn't be punished" for them dropping the ball, and they will honor the rate I was given without having to do the presentation ( well, see about that). After I've spent nearly 2 hours in guest services and on the phone with Vacation VIP, SMH. We ended up buying tickets at the waterpark gate if you want to call it a water park. Where guest services wanted me to pay the "Owners rate" of $13 each, at the gate, it was $5 each. As a "resort" this along with the other amenities should be included. I stayed at airbnbs that offered better amenities than this so-called resort. At an Airbnb with condo association by Myrtle Beach, we had better amenities for free on the property, and the beach was five minutes away. Westgate in Orlando was an awful experience. From the staff to the room. Outdated, TV not smart, furniture, bathrooms, kitchen appliances, kitchenware, staff, and the list goes on. Buying a timeshare at Westgate is out of the question, with the experience we had, was not worth the money. I hope they read this and consider addressing the issues. As for Vacation VIP goes, I hope the are more transparent when booking and communicate with the resorts more fluently. I hope to hear from both, so something can be done to turn this awful...

The are scammers and liar two people I spoke on the phone, they are Lord and Inez Figueroa😡 I see the offer from the Facebook. Everybody say nice thing for the resort the show in the picture Westgate Vacation Villas if you’re going for the timeshare ore presentation with the family, you have $100 gift cards good breakfast for one hour and 30 minute, At may 23 I pay 99$ for 4 days ande 3 nights I spoke in the phone. With Laura or Lori I’m not sureThey asked me all about the tax all the information for my family and they told you have two full beds. My kids are growing up. We need to call and to have the address different hotel exploria rezort we went to the desk. They told us after 4 o’clock. We have to wait two hours. We can go inside of the room We need to pay $75 more only for three nights when we paid $99, At the Jun 15 the last day , we need to principal at explorer hotel it’s not the charge of $300,when they’re selling the resort etj The same day we’re leaving. We need to be over there eight in the morning. the breakfast, some muffin, some bagel and coffee. The guy try to sell the condo almost for three hours over there after we done we waiting for $100 for the gift they say you don’t make a reservation with are hotel. You need to call vacation vip they told us you don’t have gift. The gift was if you’re sharing with your family bullshit I lose three hours !!!when we returnt to are hotel room door was locked!!all are stuff inside . So disappointed the hotel was so dirty we can sleep in the night from the smell.. Never again I buy from you guys and visit that...
