Tower Of Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

I wanted to take the time to write a review as a customer and staff member. Here it goes.....

Not only have I dined here for more than 20 plus years I have the pleasure of working here. I love seeing our locals come in on a weekly basis. Many of the regular locals I see I went to high school with and some are familiar faces I have met through the restaurant. I am lucky to work with a great extended Greek family along with whom I also consider family is everyone on our staff. We are a multi- cultural staffed restaurant which is awesome for when we need help translating. We are one big happy family as many would say. As for myself, I speak, write, read Spanish and I am learning sign language for our deaf customers who visit every Summer. Tower of Pizza has been open during hurricanes, Holidays and their hours are 11:00 to 11:00, seven days a week to provide meals for locals and visitors alike. No one is perfect but the staff and food are made to meet customer satisfaction. If we don't meet those needs we will do our best to fix it. We do our best to make our customers happy and want them to come back and continue business with Tower of Pizza with their family and friends. The pizza is the closest thing to New York pizza for me as a past New Yorker. The salads are huge and tasty! The subs are great as well as the pasta dishes. I hope everyone continues to enjoy this restaurant, the staff and convenient hours that Tower of Pizza provides.

We ordered takeout from here and it was just okay. We got two pizzas, Linguine with White Clam sauce, Greek salad and a slice of Key Lime pie. The pizza was okay but whoever cut it was in a hurry and the slices were all over the place. Some were okay others were squares and even had a itty bitty piece in the middle. Also the toppings were poorly distributed and we also requested no black olives but the pizza had olives. Whoever they had making the pizza needs to SLOW DOWN just a little a focus on presentation and accuracy for the order especially since there was only two parties seated in the restaurant when I picked up the order (it was a Tuesday evening)

We come to the Keys often for short vacations and wouldn’t come back to this pizza place 😢

The linguine with white claim sauce was devoid of flavor b/c they don’t use ANY fresh clams…. This was probably the worst white clam dish I’ve ever had and 80% of it when I’m the garbage.

The Greek salad was okay but nothing special.

Key Lime pie was also just okay (wasn’t expecting much from an pizza place but they said homemade so we gave it a try but definitely wouldn’t order it again)

They check out person also didn’t give us any to-go silverware which is always frustrating especially when you tip them and really the only thing they actually need to do is ring you up and make sure the order was correct (they rung up the order correctly but failed on the accuracy...

I came to eat here with my friend and immediately was greeted and sat down. We ordered a small pizza with half greek and half cheese. Our order took a long time, and meanwhile at least 3 kids came in that the workers knew and allowed to come to the back into the kitchen and everything, without being sanitary at all. Even one time the employee lady went to the bathroom to check up on one of the kids. Eventually, our pizza came out and was underwhelming and had a huge pool of tomato juice pooled in the middle of the pizza. Then the check came out and instead of being the price of half of both the greek pizza and the cheese pizza, it was instead equivalent to the price of a full cheese pizza and half a greek pizza. We asked her about this and she refused to give us a logical answer, saying that’s just the way it is, and eventually offered to take off some since we “didn’t understand”. We even heard her say “all these spoiled teenagers” to another coworker. We paid the check and left, ate the pizza and it was, as you may have guessed, a letdown. I would not recommend eating here at all because of the lack of their care and sanitary attention to the pizza and their customers.This place sucks. don’t come here unless u wanna be complained and yelled at and be treated...
