I eat at my local Tropical Smoothie on a weekly basis in South Florida, so when I was traveling and saw that there was one in Navarre, I decided to place an order for me and my daughter. I always use the app, so I entered in the order and it prompted me to enter the credit card information, even though it is saved in the app. I assumed this was either a security feature, since I was far from home or that perhaps this particular franchise didn't participate in the mobile payment. Since there is no option to order on the app and pay in the store, I tried to call to place the order. Nobody picked up, which is strange, so I headed towards the store and tried to call again, but still no answer. I got to the store and walked in to see I was the only customer there, although there were people using the drive thru. I stood there for several minutes with employees walking by and no one even acknowledging that I was there. The 1st interaction with an employee was them asking if I had an online order, which I didn't, because it couldn't take payment. I then had two other people ask me if I had an online order, which started to get on my nerves. I placed the order and waited in the lobby. Meanwhile the phone is ringing and I am witnessing everyone ignoring it, which I assume is exactly what they were doing when I called multiple time. I would have given them 1 star, but the woman that brought me my food was nice and the food was good, so I bumped it up to two stars. I know that all of these restaurants are pushing the app orders for economical and efficiency purposes, but they also need to understand that not everyone prefers to order in that manner (or can order in that manner) and sometimes the technology doesn't work at all, so it cannot be the only solution for ordering. This entire experience made me feel like I was an inconvenience to the employees because they actually personally had to take my order and from the looks of some of the other reviews, it is not an...
Read moreI am regular and live close. Today after 3 with my two year old toddler I walked in there to order two smoothies and was told they wouldn’t serve me unless I went in the long car line or put an order online. I said can’t you just do this since I am already here with my toddler and they ignored me. I asked to speak to a manager and all she said we are understaffed and busy. The seating area and inside no one was in there. They had ahi it 4 cars lined up. I have always been patient going to tropical smoothie waiting at times for an hour. What if I had no phone to make an order or transportation and I walked over. I am being refused service. The sign says tell three. It was after 3 with no one else but me. They need to either make it a only drive thru. I was upset and left upset. I drove 20 minutes to be refused service. I was In no rush and said can I not put the order in and run to the dollar store, but o was pretty much ignored. Worst service. You made money off me weekly, but no more. After this experience I am disappointed. It’s almost like people have lost human compassion, nice customer service skills And could care less for profit. I know my business or comment doesn’t matter, but it...
Read moreI never leave reviews but I’m super disappointed. We came in at 7:30 on a Wednesday when they close at 9. As soon as we walked in, the blonde girl with a blue hat and a red Nike sweatshirt looked back at her other coworker, Katie, she was sweeping, rolled her eyes, and said “I’ll be right with you” with a very rude attitude. Then Katie threw the broom down so dramatically we almost walked out right then. Then another family came in and the blonde cashier made the same smirk and attitude but this time let out a huge sigh, like it was an inconvenience to come in an hour and a half before closing time. She walks away from counting the drawer while money is spread out all over the counter and they start laughing and whispering in each others ears and then continue to make snobby looks and comments as others walked in the door to eat here. I feel like if y’all are going to hire young high schoolers, they need to at least be respectful and have better customer service. I’ll go to the other location from now on if that’s how they are gonna...
