El Paso Tacos & Tequila in Navarre is good! Reasonably priced and delicious food!
The atmosphere is really fun inside with all the different murals and colors on the wall. I prefer to togo/pick-up my order because the one time I dined inside, it was a little too chaotic for me and my family. We didn't get a booth, just a randomly small table in the middle and it was just chaotic.
My family and I love to order Togo! I have been helped by Gladys almost every time. Gladys deserves a 10/10, because she is so genuinely nice and has great customer service skills! My order is kind of complicated when I order on the phone, and she always makes sure to communicate effectively and articulates well! I appreciate her. Plus, she is so friendly, that Iāve been more loyal to this spot!
I enjoy their food! I think they do a great job with the basics. I like their rice and they pretty fair amount of lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole. The thing that makes me keep coming back to here instead of the many Mexican/Tex-mex in the general area, is the Charro beans!!!
My family enjoys their shredded chicken quesadillas with onions and bell peppers. Their tostada is also delicious, but you have to eat it fast for Togo or else the hard...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am sad to give this review. I have really enjoyed my food and experience here until this evening. Now, I know sometimes one's game can be off, and it might not be fair to judge based on one or two bad experiences; however, tonight I was served rotten food. Yes, rotten food. Unfortunately for me, I did not realize this until after I took my first bite. My chicken street tacos tasted sour, and I had to spit out my bite. Looking at the cilantro and onions on my food, they were well past their date, and smelled of rotten vegetables. The chicken was stone cold and even the sides of extra onion and cilantro I ordered with them had an off-colored yellowish tinge to them with black spots on the cilantro. I was disgusted, and even more disgusted when no one from the restaurant (management staff) even came to the table to apologize. Honestly, I think that was just as bad as getting rotten food. Obviously, they did not care. I am just hoping I do not get sick later on. This place started out so good, and we do not have a great deal of choices in our small town. I will never return to this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered two tacos, an enchilada, a margarita, small queso and guacamole. I told the bartender about how I wasn't happy with the food and politely asked her not to charge me for the tacos or the guacamole. And to add to that, it was the smallest enchelada I had ever seen in my life, and I love mexican food. I'm a chef. The guacamole was loaded with onions, in my opinion, making it unedibble. The tacos tasted like wood or cardboard. I ordered two and took one bite, and it was gross. She still charged me, and I didn't want to just walk out. I called and spoke with a woman supervisor. The manager apparently takes a break from 2 pm to 5 pm. That's unheard of in a restaurant. Needless to say, I ended up paying for everything, even though I didn't eat it. When I spoke with the woman, she said "well that's what you ordered.". Like, yeah, but it was gross, I wasn't happy with it and didn't eat it. I will be calling my bank on Monday. And possibly to get a new debit card, it was either left there or not given back to me, and it's red. ...
