Twistee Treat — Restaurant in Florida

This tiny reataurant produces a remarkable assortment of freshly cooked options for those seeking lunch or dinner options, in addition to the ice cream options the name would imply. This is All American style cuisine - burgers, fries, sodas, hotdogs, etc. -- all made fresh to order and served up hot & ready. My teenage son is in heaven here, enjoying the delicious food and large portions; my daughters love the ice cream and can never finish their good-sized meals; and even I can find quasi-healthy, gluten free options to satisfy (I usually go for the grilled chicken sandwich without the bun, with its traditional toppings of lettuce & tomato). Showed up at 7:57 pm today July 25, 2020 my daughter and I are here from Michigan and it was her birthday today and she wanted twistee treat for her birthday before we go back to Michigan where we don’t have any... needless to say on top of not getting to really have a birthday because of Covid-19 now she is sad that she couldn’t even get her ice cream. Smh having an employee stand to end the line to send people away before you are even closed. I’m sure it would have just killed them to have to actually be open the last 5 minutes they are supposed to be open. I won’t ever try this location again....

Had to sit in the drive thru for an hr as they didnt have any signs indicating cash only until u get all the way to the window so i wasted an hr for absolutely nothing. Ive sent multiple people to this location and I will be telling every single person I've ever told to go there to get good food and ice cream to not go there and waste their time because they lack communication screw this place I will never be back to it and I will tell everybody not to go there there's another twistee treat around the corner somewhere horrible...
