Uptown Creamery — Restaurant in Dade City

Alright - Here is is. Plain and simple. You want ice cream and I mean GOOD ICE CREAM, You come here. You want good pizza, you go to American Pizza Oven. You want a good beer, You go to Dade City Brew House. Renaud ( Hope I am spelling correctly ) and Whitney have perfected the ice cream game. Literally. Cookies and Cream, Crunchy Joe Brew, Carrot Cake, Blueberry Cobbler, Strawberry, just to name a couple flavors I have had are out of this world! I literally write this review while I daydream about these delicious dairy delights. Super great prices, perfect serving size. I don't have anything bad to say! Yes, they get busy, yes you may wait a couple mins depending on day and time to get your dairy delight however I promise it is worth it. Way better then some other local "treat" options. Plus I like knowing what is in my ice cream. Anyway! Thanks for the deliciousness! I can't wait to return! Oh, and they have games to play too, chess, connect 4, candy land and plenty more so you can have a good time while eating your good...

Good homemade icecream and waffle cones. I would get a cup next time as the waffle cone was too much for me. You get a piece of waffle cone in the cup anyway, so you can still get a taste. You get two scoops and I've tried the following: Cookies & Cream - 5/5 yummy! Pistachio 4/5, mild taste but still very good - flavor gets washed out from other stronger-flavored scoops though Chocolate 2/5 (personally not a fan of chocolate ice cream but fiancee says it's good) Cookie Monster - unfortunately ran out as I arrived but interested in trying next time! The coffee (mint?) and birthday cake sounded good too.

They just opened a few months ago and are still decorating the place but they've got a good solid ice cream sell! I would really love to see the waffle cones fancied up in the future (chocolate covered etc). I also wasn't a great fan of the waffle cone's flavor - like it needs more vanilla taste or sweetness to it maybe? Definitely returning for more flavors though!

Seriously top notch place! Amazing small batch ice cream that is literally BURSTING with Flavor. I mean, seriously... if you haven't tried Whitbey and Rinard"s magical recipes. Then you SORELY missing out.

To pay SO MUCH ATTENTION to setting and keeping the bar so VERY high when it comes to delicious, LITERALLY homemade ice cream without compromising your ability to interact with and keep the smiles on the faces of your customrs, is an artwork that is lost on many. However, these two have both charm and a positive attitude that is clearly contagious to all who enter.

And don't even get me STARTED on the smell emanating from the doors EVERY TIME they are opened (FYI, a LOT of people come and go daily).

Long story short, this place is legit, and made even more authentic by the vibes of the owners!
