I needed to write this review in the beginning of this year, and kept forgetting. I want to let the owners of Tyler's Homemade Ice Cream know, not only do they have excellent ice cream, but they have a wonderful employee who made our experience great! It was a holiday, New Year's Day, and I was surprised they were open. We decided to stop for an ice cream after a day at the beach. The parking lot was almost full, but we decided we were in no hurry and would wait for service as it would most likely be slow. Read moreI have been thinking about their ice cream since I had it last summer, and finally had the chance to grab some to go. I got chocolate chip cookie dough because last time it was AMAZING, this time I was so disappointed! The location is good for those on the south end of Anna Maria Island. The 2 ice cream shops on the north end of the island were always Very busy with long lines. Holy Cow ice cream shop at least offered up some conversation and actually seemed truly interested in making the visit an experience. Tyler's we felt like we were almost an inconvenience. Just over the bridge on the mainland, and literally around the corner from some well known and well regarded restaurants that are...
