This is my go to place to pickup a pizza and a piece of cake and head home to enjoy. I like simple foods. I love pizza. The crust is not too thin, not too thick. It’s light and crispy yet satisfying. The sauce has flavor! You can taste the herbs, salt and garlic. Not sweet, not acidic. There a lovely, flavorful, balance to the sauce. The cheese is a quality product that stays on the pizza and doesn’t ooze oil. This beautiful well balanced piece of ART is always satisfying (The pizza pie)! The folks working there are professional, both front end and the back, as well as friendly, funny and nice. The place runs with purpose to make consistent pizza pies and other dishes consistently , and to feed the community and those who love Pizza, at very fair prices for the quality of the food. If you haven’t tried Vinny D’s menu items, go online look over the menu, put a order in, take a spin over. Look in the cake fridge there might be something in there someone you know would like. They sell soda products to go too. They are located in the only small plaza on Congress between Massachusetts and way before The Pine Hill turn on the other side of the road. Open Hours are limited but consistent. Check out Their Facebook page or website. Sometimes the plaza parking lot can be kinda full but I always found a spot to part and run in. Give Vinny D’s a try, they serve a nice clean fresh tasting, well balanced pizza pie....
Read moreHave lived in NPR for over a year now and thought we had finally found a pizza joint we liked, That Pizza Place, but unfortunately they've closed down and we've been on the search for another decent pizza ever since. It's not been a very easy find. We decided to give Vinny D's a go. We ordered a Large White and added Italian sausage and a veggie stromboli. The pizza was pretty good but I felt it was missing something. Not sure what exactly but something. It was also more on the medium side and not a large. The veggie stromboli was very good. No complaints. The next day, leftovers, the pizza still tasted pretty good but the dough had turned to super chewy. But my biggest disappointment was the salad dressing. I like to dip my pizza into salad dressing. So for an extra $0.89 I ordered a side of blue cheese dressing. If I had known it was the kind that came in a packet, I wouldn't have ordered it. Yuck. So my complaint is that they should have it stated on their menu that the dressing is not in house made and that it's the packet and with the brand of it listed too. Other than that, the place was clean, the staff friendly and the food good. Will probably try other places but I'm sure we'll order from...
Read moreWow, wow, wow. It smelled so good, we realized we needed to take pics a little too late. Where do I start?! The crust is toasted to the perfect crunch and just the right amount of salty buttery-deliciousness. The garlic is prominent and the ricotta on the white pizza is so creamy. I asked to add basil and I'm so glad I did, it put it over the top (big whole leaves). My bf got a meatball with peppers and onions and light cheese. He said it was the perfect amount of cheese for his liking. I did order a side of meatballs just to see what i would be in for when ordering some pasta in the future. And boy, were they so juicy and seasoned!. Plus they put so much extra sauce around it, theres plenty for dipping that delicious bread in. We just moved to the area and were so excited to see a little pizza shop, we use to live by nothing but big chains. We all agreed we plan on working our way through the menu. Thank you guys so much for such amazing quality products. You will be hearing...
