Pre-ordered some FFTCG Legacy Collection wanting to try another local TCG shop instead of my regular togo. Fast shipping (3-4 days after release) however was sent someone elses order instead. Understandable mistakes happens but wish more precaution was in placed with orders that value more then $180. As well as our personal information being in another person hands. Worked with Nathan trying to fix the situation asap since some of these boxes were gifts for a friend visting out of state. To late to order from my local tcg since they ran out of stock already I decided to roll the dice on it coming before a week end. Sadly took a little more then a week due to stock issue to receive the proper product and the items came after when I needed it too. Aside from the couple of email having to send a reminder for the return label for the wrong product and an update on my product after the date I received. Overrall okay place to order from but for me personally I would just order from my togo local tcgshop for reliability if you need the items in a timly manner.
Edit/reply: I triple checked my email conversation and no there was no option to have part of my package shipped to my friend. Yes there was an option to have the person who had my package to have them ship it back to me directly vise versa however I'm sure anyone can agree they would rather have a product straight from the store itself rather then take the chance of having the cards itself...
Read moreI'll be honest, I'm an introvert, so I don't do too well in large crowds for any duration of time, however I want to broaden my horizons.
I love Magic the Gathering, and just the whole creativity of it all, and I've been itching to play a good game of commander with a group of people. I stumbled across this place via Google and called to see if they had any games nights, and they offer commander nights on Tuesdays and Fridays. I went for the first time last week and it's a nice, cozy shop full of people playing card games and cracking packs. I was immediately great by a young gentleman with glasses playfully talking smack to his pod and I went on about my business. Ran into an old friend, who I feel has a great sense of judgement regarding the overall state of a healthy gaming community, so I ended up staying.
Long story short, I got in some games of EDH, vibed out with locals, they make you feel welcomed and the energy is super casual and allows room for growth as a player. Tyler, DJ and Eli are pretty chill and sociable, so it really helps with my overall anxiety. You'll always see me gaming on Tuesdays, and Fridays if possible. Check this playing out, and come in with an open and...
Read moreVery inconsistent store. Also very nuts pricing on almost everything. Almost every card is above Market by like 5-10 dollars and try to gouge certain cards 1 condition slot higher on TCGplayer than it actually is. I understand conditions on cards can be subjective, But some people in there take simple negotiation as an insult, instead of simply saying “no” or “I can’t really be too flexible on the price”, gets defensive then I’m all of a sudden bad for kindly responding, then “I’m being defensive” and think we’re “hustling” and looking for “PSA 10 cards” when negotiating is extremely normalized especially in Card stores or Pawn Shops, it shows interest in your product. One person didn’t explain why it’s the price it is and just brute forced it. Some of the staff there are nice and others not so much. It’s a coin flip whether you come in to nice staff or not...
