Visiting a Wawa is about as fun as saying it’s name- that means it’s quite fun by the way. Even though this is pretty far south in town, it’s a really good gas station option, especially of all the Wawa’s in town.
Since it is on the edge of town the gas prices are usually the cheapest, or at least consistently the most competitive. This location is also clean and well taken care of.
An awesome thing about Wawa- they have free air! For some reason, you can’t find free air hardly anywhere at Florida gas stations to fill up your tires. They also have a pretty good rewards program. The upsetting thing that doesn’t make sense to me, however, is that buying gas doesn’t count towards the rewards. So I don’t really get gas at Wawa anymore, but they still usually have good prices at this location.
The next closest Wawa is along Bartow and Edgewood about 15 minutes away. I would always choose this South Florida location to go to over the others. It’s just so nice. And for a gas station they really do have decent food at great prices....
Read moreOrdered a simple warm cookie. I understand that things get busy but customers are always top priority. I wanted patiently for my cookie. Only to see that it had not been prepared like the other orders on the screen. Once it had been prepared it sat on the cutting board waiting to be boxed by the wawa employee. All ready frustrated from having to wait ten to fifteen mins for one cookie I asked the employee and I quote " aye can get that cookie" she replied wait a minute I replied I have for fifteen mins. Only to watch her cut a sandwich and then boxes that sandwich and then grab the cookie which broke. So now I'm angry, because not only was order looked over but also was treated as if was not important like any other customer. I received refund from the manger who was in the kitchen at the time. Who did not offer any kind reconciliation for this. Customer service should be always excellent...
Read moreI know I was extremely excited when they originally built this store near me but once I started to go I was extremely disappointed. I actually will go out of my way to go to the Wawa on the corner of Edgewood when I want some thing and I live in Mulberry. Today I need to stop to get something for someone and I decided while I was there I would try again in order a pumpkin spice iced coffee. They were two people in front of me and it still took 14 minutes to get an iced coffee then when I received it it was so bitter… Also the fact that when you pull into the parking lot there is a homeless man sleeping in your street… Just not good thing to see when you first drive in. Not to mention the amount of times that I had gone there previously and had homeless people approaching me for money. Guess I will head towards...
