Wawa — Restaurant in Florida

Old guy working around 12:30-1am was super rude. Interrogating everyone who gets a cup of ice — which is supposed to be free with purchase. My boyfriend bought a fountain soda and cashed out at one of the two self checkout machines. This employee, who seems to be under the impression that he is Chief of Ice Police rather than simply a cashier — a title he seems to believe grants him the authority to harass any customer who dares use self checkout — actually stopped my boyfriend on his way out and started questioning him about his purchase, acting like he was stealing! When told that he already paid at self checkout, this 'person' even asked him which machine he used, and went through the transaction history on it to "make sure he wasn't lying and trying to steal"! He had done absolutely nothing to give the impression he was stealing anything so the cashier's actions would have been entirely uncalled for regardless, but to go to such an extreme extent and accuse, harass, and embarrass a paying customer over a $2 SODA is as unhinged as it is mind-blowing. We make purchases at various local Wawas no less than twice a day, every day, and have never had an experience like this. Definitely will not be returning to...

I thought this was by far the best Wawa until the morning my strawberry smoothie being that I usually work even if you and I picked up a warning here so why when I get to the Wawa the associate that’s supposed to be making the movie going around those shorts Elijah and he’s not with me or any other word, catch a attitude with me like I’m in the wrong cause I ordered a smoothie at this time of morning as I stated to him at that he stated it to her if I called it now I stayed it I’ll try to start my day off right here’s the point in the moral of this yo people that I work at Eddie’s company need to realize your place I don’t care about your extra criteria or activities that you’re doing when my order popped up because you’re at work sir but with that being said, you should’ve been at your station start to make my drink start no matter what time it is, sir you’re on the clock, sir so now I’m not even gonna drink my smoothie because I don’t even feel like my smoothie it’s like to drink talking to me know how he treated me. It was my second time ordering food from here, and I never expected what happened.

The first time getting food from here was a week prior, and that went rather smoothly. I ordered my food from a kiosk, waited for my number to be called, grabbed my food, and took all my items to the cashier to pay for them.

This second time that I went and ordered food was anything but usual. As previously, I ordered food from a kiosk and waited for my number to be called. Upon my number being called, I went to the counter to pick up my order as usual, or so I thought:

I said to the food preparation expert because my order was far from reachable, "I have 602!"

Well, the response wasn't what I expected, "You have to pay first!"

To which I responded, "I've never had to do that before."

The snide response, "Do you get your food at McDonald's before you pay?"

I walked away thinking, "I actually pay at the same time that I order at McDonald's."
