I checked into this hotel after a long day driving. For some reason, the room I reserved was changed(according to the desk person) from a king suite to a double queen room. I was told it was changed by the computer. I was asked if I wanted ground floor or 4th floor( ground floor being noisiest) After I explained that I had rented a suite, I was given a room on the 3rd floor... the employee noticed I was tired and she suggested going up and resting. I went into my room and laid down for a few hours. The toilet was running. I went out to my car to get a few shirts on hangers that I left before going to the desk to complain about the toilet. I had parked my car in back. I found that my garaged kept, fairly expensive car only to find that someone with a wheel chair left had backed into its front bumper. At that point, I forgot about the running toilet and called the dealership to get my car repaired. Later that night, after I turned off the water to the continuously running and flushing toilet, the dogs in the next room started barking. Why would the employee put me in a room next to dogs knowing that I needed a good nights sleep? The faucet in the bathroom was being held on one side only and moved freely when I used it. I have stayed at this hotel probably a half dozen times just in the last year. Before I noticed that the cleanliness of the bathroom was no up to standard. The last few stays, I have noticed that the furnishings and room conditions have deteriorated. I can't speak about the other rooms, but if I am paying top dollar to stay in a suite, then it should be fairly nice. I was recognized as being a "gold" member, but I don't feel as if I got any better service. Oh, and I opted for the one and only time to take the nuts and water over the points. NOT worth a dime. Cheap bottled water and really bad mixed nuts#which half of the bag was sun flower seeds# It is what I would expect if I stayed at a cheap hotel across the street. Finally, putting a #not allowed to post# hold on my CC for a week for incidentals as if I was staying in a more expensive hotel was too much. If I wanted anything, then I would've paid cash like anytime before. Never mind the $1000 bill to repair my car. I did not enjoy my stay. I did not rest well. Needless to say, after 3 years of staying at this hotel, this was my last visit. I would upload the video I took of the poor conditions, but alas, it is larger than 5mb and I don't feel the need to edit it to fit even if I could upload it...
Read moreWe booked this hotel based on fairness of price and the availability of the 1 King Bed 1 Bedroom Suite. Our party included 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Our trip was from a Sunday through Saturday.
A few days before we were to head down to Florida, someone from the hotel called and asked if we could stay in a king bed suite. I agreed because what were we going to do this late into the game? I was told the room we reserved was out of service due to a refrigerator issue. When we checked in, I asked if that room was available, and the gentleman said that it wasn't. He told us to check back and that I may be available in a few days, but it looked like it wasn't. I did check on Monday and Tuesday but then gave up. When I did check online to see if this room was available for the week we were there, it showed it was available online which is frustrating. Either they are booking and relocating guests, or the room was available.
When we got into our room, the small refrigerator would not get cold (only cool). When my daughter and her friend went downstairs, for something else, they asked the gentleman about the refrigerator and if there was a trick to get it colder. His reply to them was, "the refrigerators are not made to get really cold and if we needed it colder than put a bag of ice on top of it."
The cleaning lady didn't clean one of the days no biggie. The next day I ran up to the room to put something in our room and she was a room down. She kept apologizing to me that she didn't clean the room the previous day. She told me multiple times that she was too busy to clean it. Wait, what? isn't your job to clean the rooms on the floor?
I don't know who it was, but he had to be maybe a higher up. He had a meeting with employees about performance and how they needed to do better. I won't say what they were spoke to about, but I felt bad that customers were in the lobby, and he was speaking to them about these issues. I really hope the one gentleman does what was asked of him because he seemed nice during the interactions I had with throughout the week. I just felt like that meeting should have been somewhere out of the eyes and ears of customers.
Even with those mishaps, I would stay at this hotel again. It was very clean, and every...
Read moreOur stay was not good at all. The hotel looked nice from the outside, but it was a train wreck on the inside. I hesitate to write reviews, but this is really important that people know this before booking a room there. We were forced to stay at this hotel for a pay to play soccer tournament. So we had no choice. 1)you will not be able to check in early. 2) they ran out of towels every day, and would come in your room whether the sign was up or not and take your towels without replacing them. One member on our team didn't realize that and was taking a shower after they had taken all his towels and had nothing to dry off. 3) on the third floor right by where we stayed there were 1-2 ceiling tiles out and dripping water, I had to tell the front desk multiple times to empty the overflowing bucket that was soaking the carpet. 4) then worst of all, we checked into our room and everything seemed okay UNTIL we started showering and at first I just thought I had a cold, but all 3 of us sneezed and had runny noses the rest of the night absolutely could not sleep or breathe (it was not Covid), because when we left the room it all stopped, but as soon as we started the shower or walked into the room after showering the sneezing would start and because we shower at night it was horrible all night. absolutely no sleep. 5) the air conditioner made a grinding noise every time it kicked on, so if we weren't sneezing then the air conditioning was keeping us up. 6) the breakfast was fabulous on the first day, but after that they stopped restocking things and once they were out of something they didn't put more out. very frustrating 7) I mentioned the pay to play, they refused to open the breakfast early for those players that had early games so this hotel should be taken off any pay to play list for any sport and it should be comdemned. 8) one positive note is that we had family in another room on the 2nd floor and they did not have any sneezing so maybe they are remodeling from the ground up. 9) You couldn't pay me to stay in this hotel again. I am usually not this harsh, but don't make this mistake. they should have refunded us our money for the lack of sleep and towels. 10) the front desk was friendly and would smile, but not really do anything to resolve...
