Ripped me off on bags of ice - extremely petty and rude! From time to time, I get bags of ice from Wendy's and the bags are always full. Tonight, I got two bags of ice and they refused to fill them. I poured one bag into the other so one of the two bags would be full and the lady could see how bad she ripped me off (one bag was 1/2 empty after I topped off the other bag. In other words, I paid for two bags of ice but only got 1 and 1/2 bags). She said they are not supposed to fill the bags and refused to fix the problem. I told her I've never bought bags of ice from Wendy's that were missing so much ice. Her response to me was, "I don't know who's filling up the bags all the way, but the way I did it is how they are supposed to be filled." This makes me want to never go back to Wendy's, not knowing if I'm gonna get ripped off, and workers so petty they won't even fill a bag of ice - she would rather get nasty with me over it. Strange hill to die on. Extremely disappointing. For the owners, if they care and want an opportunity to know who needs to be retrained - this happened on 4/23/2025 @ about 11:40PM at the 6600 SR64 location. The woman that got nasty with me and refused to sell full bags of ice was an over weight white woman (looked like she may have been a manager of some sort). Read moreThe drive thru person was not friendly and tried to hurry us along even when nobody was behind me. I order food for five people; Dad & Mom and three hungry teens. We rack up any order of food where ever we eat! We ordered both flavors of frostys, 10 hamburgers plain with only bacon, 5 small fries, and a small chicken nuggets for our two little spoiled dogs. We were asked to move ahead to wait! We did and that was fine seeing we ordered specially made food. They came with our food and we counted everything to make sure the people waiting at home got thier orders too. We go home and the hamburgers were plain with one little sliver of bacon on each hamburger. All the fries looked like they were the ones scrapped from inbeteeen the entire machine and where the fries are set in the holding rack for emplyees to take for other customers. They were small, hard, greasy, and cold! Yuck! We eat out all the time and this place will not be one of our common votes to eat at when we are trying to decide where to go! Sorry Wendy’s for the moderately poor posting but maybe some new management and smiling faces would be a great idea to over come driving through a truck stop with people standing around. Then driving with children into your dark drive thru and rolling down our window in resistance for fear of being held up? I recently visited Wendy's with mixed feelings about the overall experience. The food was okay, but unfortunately, the customer service left much to be desired.
The menu offered typical fast-food options, and while the taste was decent, it didn't stand out as exceptional. The burgers were passable, but I expected more from a renowned fast-food chain like Wendy's.
What disappointed me the most was the customer service. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked basic friendliness. There was no warm greeting, and they didn't make any effort to engage with customers. It felt like they were just going through the motions without any genuine care for providing good service.
To add to the frustration, the service was painfully slow. The line wasn't particularly long, but it took an unusually long time for my order to be taken and prepared. It seemed like the employees were not adequately trained or properly organized to handle the flow of customers efficiently.
Overall, my experience at Wendy's was underwhelming due to the lackluster customer service and slow pace of operations. While the food was acceptable, the overall experience was far from enjoyable.
