646 p.m. September 13th 2023.. After a long day At the hospital we just wanted to have wendys.which is our favorite..My husband and I went through the drive-thru. And we checked our order in the parking lot. We were missing food and the food that we did get was wrong. I went into the restaurant with the receipt and spoke to the first person at the counter. I was nice and just explained what happened...That person was trying to make the order right and then Chelsea interrupted and took over. Assist mgr or spv. Standing right there...Chelsea kept arguing with me about a Jr fry. Calling me "girl" Very defensive. Kept arguing with me over and over. I told her that she shouldn't talk to customers like that! I asked just to make the order correct. Chelsea got very nasty and the discussion got heated. I could not believe my ears! Even as a human being at any time, you don't talk to others that way! Screaming! I stood their in shock. A manager showed up from the back of the store and wanted to know what was going on and I told her. Arguing kept going. Mgr did nothing...Then I threw up my hands and said I want my money back and put all the food back on the counter. I gave them my credit card and ask them to back out the whole order and we left without our lunch. The manager and the assistant manager spv, didn't seem to care whatsoever what was going on. They didn't even try to calm her down or make things right with me..what a circus! Nobody apologized. Chelsea was her name.. but I blame all of the staff at the counter, especially to management! extremely unprofessional...I felt like I was ganged up on... Geesh! It didn't have to be that way at all! ...
Read moreThis Wendy's needs to re-train it's Employees on Service. For example: Employees should not pick up a customer's drink cup to fill it with tea, by placing his fingers inside the top of the cup after filling it with ice. Also, since he is handeling "dirty" money, he should not be handeling food or drinks with his bare hands where his bare hands touch areas that the food will come in contact with his bare hands. When taking an order and being told that the order is "to go"; he should not place the order on a tray for the dining room. These are just a few of the observations while we were in this Wendy's today. We love to eat at Wendy's most of the time. Normally this order would have not taken 5 minutes. We waited over 15 minutes only to be told that the "plain home style chicken sandwich" would take 10 minutes. My husband and I each grew up in family owned restaurants. We know that restaurants are only as good as the training of the employees. This Wendy's needs help. The failure on the Manager's part was that he was telling the employees that the plan was not working and they needed to come up with a new one. (The restaurant was filing up with people who were beginning to get impatient - when we arrived, there was one customer in front of us. By the time our order was taken, the restaurant was full of customers and there was only one person on the counter taking orders.) There were about 15 people in line to...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars I would. Came through the drive thru with the family of 7 while heading back to Ohio from central Florida from vacation. They forgot a drink so we told them and they looked at us like we were trying to scam them while they checked the receipt. Finally we get it then I park so we can check the $40 order and they forgot nuggets and fries. The 4 four for $4 meals were just put in random bags and we had to put them in their own bags. After having to go inside and show them the receipt again and again getting looked at like we are trying to scam them plus seeing another customer complain about their drink being wrong we get everything situated. Also the blonde drive thru woman with glasses was actually rushing us, kept asking "Is that it?" No woman that's not it, I have a SUV packed with 4 kids and two other adults besides me. I'll tell you when that completes my order. Plus to the black manager, maybe if you actually wore your headset for the drive thru then you would already know exactly what the problem is with the order. I have fast food experiance in a big city and all I have to say about your performance is...wow. The food was good though. Thanks. By the way, the place was practically dead with only 4 cars in the parking lot, which were probably employee vehicles, and only 1 truck behind us in...
