Wings Plus Fort Lauderdale — Restaurant in Florida

Me and my wife went to this wing plus restaurant in Oakland Park Fl.we decided to dine in and I ordered the buffalo shrimp because I love to eat these at Hooters but I didn't want wings but my wife ordered the wings so we were going to share,the waiter was super nice and she bring the food and when I see my buffalo shrimp put in front me I notice they was the frozen shrimp that come pre package and just tossed in buffalo sause and not the fresh shrimp like other restaurants serve,so i tell my waiter I don't want this kind of shrimp and I didn't even touch them so the listen to my issue so she take them and go tell the owner which is the lady/wife,this woman comes to our table and tell me I got to pay for it because I ordered it and I explained to the owner that I didn't expect these kind of pre battered frozen shrimp and she tell me that's my problem but I can do whatever I want to with the shrimp but I got to pay for it.now I was very very very upset 😡 inwhich I was about to cause a scene but my wife kept me calmed and told me she will pay for the order so me being upset and now this lady/owner was so old like around 88 or 90 years old I didn't want to disrespect my elders. I leave and waited about two hours before they closed i called in an order that was about $150.00 and I told them I wanted them well we'll done I even ordered three orders of buffalo shrimp and probably two fifty pieces of chicken wings and they called me letting me know my order was ready 😆 so that nasty owner had to end up eating that fake order.. but can you believe going to any restaurant and something that you don't like and not even touching it and they tell you tough luck you got to pay for it because you ordered it, please do not go to this wing stop the other one are ok but not the one in Oakland Park. If I wanted to push the issue I could've called the police and they would've advised her I don't have to pay for something I didn't touch,this lady is so use to other people like myself black and Spanish who patronize her restaurant that she feel we are stupid and we don't know our rights,the waiter didn't want us to leave her a tip because she knew the owner was wrong. Stay away from this place,if you don't belive me just go there and order something that you feel you don't want anymore and see...

So this place has decent wings, however their service sucks. And their rules for when they mess up your order suck as well. If they mess up your order, which they've done several times with myself and a few people I know, they want you to drive all the way back to the restaraunt to give them the food back before they redo your food. So you BETTER CHECK YOUR FOOD before you leave. Also, they don't give you ANYTHING for driving all the way back... literally NOTHING. I ordered honey hot wings 3 times and the first 2 times I was in a rush and didn't open they back which the tire in 3 knots so it's hard to open. Both times there was NO HONEY on my wings, so I drove all the way back to the store and they gave me a little container of honey FOR 15 WINGS! The other time I told them it wasn't worth it to drive back because all they were going to do was give me honey in a little container LITERALLY NO MORE THAN 10MLS OF HONEY! ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS FOR 15 WINGS! IT ACTUALLY ANGERS ME JUST THINKING ABOUT IT! I had to argue with them just to have them say they would credit my account for the little container of honey... This place ONLY gets my business if im DYING for wings. And to me they're really expensive for wings. I actually will pay good money for food because that's really all I do. I go out to eat and enjoy myself. But the place is old and not worth a sit down meal so I always order to go. And the last 3 times I order with them I had a problem with my order. And I don't understand why number one they're so expensive and number 2 they don't offer their customers something if THEY are the ones that mess up the order. It's not like they've done ANY renovations to the place since it opened. Even if they offered a soda I would accept it. But to say oh well, sorry you had to drive back here to get the order you paid over $100 for right, is absurd to me. If the wings weren't so good I'd give them 1 star. They employ a bunch of kids so I'm sure the pay is extremely low. So why is it they can't do better business? We have got to stop spending our money on places that don't VALUE their...
