I’ve had a pleasant experience each time I’ve visited this location. However, this past Sunday’s experience was ridiculous. I always order a Venti Caramel Frappuccino, dairy-free milk (either almond or coconut milk), extra caramel, and no whip. Once I placed my order and checked the screen I moved towards the drive-thru window. I usually watch as my drink is being made and this time the barista began adding whip which the young lady at the window must have reminded her not to. The barista then gets a cup lid to scrape the whipped cream off the top, which I think is unsanitary. She then adds more caramel and the leftover mix. When I was handed the drink I asked if she was sure that all the whip was removed and she said yes. I asked if she was sure (I can only have a very limited amount of dairy) and she said she could remake it but it would take 2-3 minutes. I stated that I had the time to wait because I wanted it done right...I paid for it, right. She quickly makes the drink only to hand me a soupy Frappuccino. I was very frustrated by this point so I took the drink into the store and just requested a refund. The manager did so without a problem. As I stated above, normally the customer service is outstanding at this location though this instance was not the best. I do understand that as a consumer I risk the chance of the mistakes of the service provider. Note: Be courteous and considerate of your customers’ requests/specifications because you don’t know what reactions they may...
Read moreI usually don't leave reviews, but today instead of doing my normal daily mobile order and grabbing my caramel macchiato with oatmilk, I decided to sit and work. The baristas all know my name and my order and always greet me with a warm "Good morning", regardless if they are busy or understaffed. You don't always get that, so I appreciate it. Today, was no different in the greeting, but what I saw was genuine respect and care for one another. Brian, the manager made sure to acknowledge a job well done to one of the barista's as her shift ended, when one of the barista's came in to get a drink on his day off, he also acknowledged him and told him to enjoy his Friday day off. As each barista left for the day, they all said goodbye to one another. It all felt very genuine and warm. This wasn't the first time that I saw this at this store, but the first time that I reflected. Not always do customers say "Thank YOU and Job Well Done!", so I am saying it today. As a Corporate Leadership and Learning & Development Trainer this was a display of Leadership and hiring the right...
Read moreI love Starbucks. I visit this location almost every morning Mon - Fri because it is on my way to work and well, because I love Starbucks. I am there so often, a couple of the baristas know my order as soon as I pull up to the window without me having to say what I want. I appreciate that. However, more often than not, I get terrible service at this location. Most of the girls in the drive through can't be bothered to speak or crack a smile. They technically get my order right but they quality varies greatly from one visit to the next. Sometimes watery, sometimes almost zero whipped cream, sometimes super chocolately, and oddly enough sometimes it tastes like a popsicle stick. I'm torn because while I do appreciate the location and some of the baristas who are friendly and good at their jobs, on the other hand, I dislike giving my hard earned money to rude people or to people who are so apathetic toward their job, they could give two craps if I enjoy my purchase or not. Maybe I should just change my route into work and give my business to...
