I have been to quite a few restaurants living life on the road most of the time. I would have to say that the north St. Louis establishments rate among the worst in the country. I don't know if it's just a local, cultural, or race thing but I have never been treated like this anywhere else I travel. The Burger King at Halls Ferry and Lindbergh is no exception. I ordered food through the drive in, and I will admit it was a very busy night. The Chick-fil-a in the same parking lot had just opened and the the lines were wrapped around the block, instead of waiting I decided to eat at this Burger King. Long story short I did not receive my full order. When I returned to ask for the missing items I waited my turn, and then, nothing. Not one employee ask me why I was standing at the counter. When I stated to ask the cashier for help she rudely, before I could even finish my sentence stated, "You gonna have to talk to the manager" and pointed out another employee whose back was to me. At no time did this manager turn around, or acknowledge my existence. The manager walked away to help the employees at the drive through and walked back toward me, still nothing. Before I could speak she picked up the phone to handle a call, so I waited, expecting her to speak with me when she hung up. Nothing. This entire time I was talking with other people in line, also there for missing food and I explained that I didn't blame them, they were very busy and things happen. This conversation happened in front on the manager who still refused to speak to me. I finally ask, "Is there a manager I can speak to?". It was then that she very rudely almost yelled at me, "What are you looking for?". I tried to show her my receipt and she WALKED AWAY. At that point I had it, I wasn't going to argue with them, it's not worth the price of a few burgers. I snapped a photo of the manager so that I could speak with the store owner at another time and the manager lost her mind. Started yelling at me, almost hit me and then stomped around yelling. It was they most she had said to me since I arrived. She said, "I don't want to give you your food now, I am going to refund your money so you can get the hell out." I didn't want the money, just the burgers, but I wasn't going to argue with her. I will still contact the store owner so that I can pay for the food that WAS made correctly and to have him review the cameras in his store to see how his manager acts toward customers.
I wish I could say this was an isolated incident but the exact same thing happened at a McDonald's in the same area. I will never again eat at a restaurant in this area, I will spend the time to drive further west or south where customer service still exist. Or maybe I should have waited in the Chick-Fil-A line, this kind of service would not be tolerated...

The counter lady just walked away, helped someone else then went and hollered through the window and said can you work on her lil ol measley hamburgers & the other lady said Iāll get to it when I get to it sheās not the only person here so she needs to wait! I went in after waiting 20 min 2 employee were in the front and 2 were in the back I went to counter and ask for my shakes they had me shakes ther were sitting for a min I ask them to remake them or money back. The manager went to tell me u not get both I said one or the other u replace it or give me my money. No she threats to come over the counter and kick my ass. I door dash a lot I'm at this store a lot I don't appreciate these little kids thinking there grown becuase they have a higher title. This store is crap and had been for 40 yr.
