I wanted to break down my rating of each section for everyone to under Why I rated how I did. I’m being completely honest with my experience I had yesterday 7/21
Food- 4/5 I got the Hawaiian pizza with mozzarella sticks.the pizza was quite large and big enough for two. The pizza was phenomenal! I added some balsamic vinegar on top and wow that was delicious. The crust was cooked perfectly and just overall very delicious. I also got the mozzarella sticks and they were just okay. I probably wouldn’t order them again. I would go for the meatballs as those looked way fresher and more of a home cooked vibe. I got a dessert that I asked for but received to-go which was tiramisu. It was very delicious.
Service- 3/5 The service was very bad. I do know it was their first day so that’s to be expected but no one greets you or tells you anything. And because it was busy there were 6 other customers standing around having no clue what to do. We finally found out seating was first come first served so we were all trying to make sure we knew the order of who got there first so we didn’t accidentally take someone’s spot. After we sat down it did get a little better.
Atmosphere- 3/5 Minus it being very crowded with tons of people waiting inside it was so HOT like wow it was very very warm. My water I asked for warmed up quickly because of the heat from the pizza cooker.
Overall the food was very good. And only small issues with waiting and it being a bit toasty. I’ll definitely be back! I want to try...
Read moreVery very disappointed. We will not order to go again nor dine with you. Ordered through Slice two pizzas, two salads and two different flavored wings. Restaurant called us and said they were out of garlic parm wings, we said fine..just replace with lemon pepper..they said yes..charged us for two orders. Driver comes drops off food..missing order of wings..no biggie we call restaurant and speak to manager …she was complacent , non apologetic. Did not say sorry once. We asked for refund of wings we did not receive or for them to deliver them..she refused..said she could not do neither. We were dumbfounded..:didn’t make sense..we paid for food we did not receive..common sense ..you either deliver or you refund. She continued to refuse over and over saying she could not…she then blamed Slice..said it happens ALL the time..THEY eat the food. It was only after a 8 min conversation and stating we would write a negative review and email the owner that she finally said she would just drive to our home…which she did 45 min after our original food arrived. Do better D’Italia..if this is common issue then don’t use Slice or offer refund. Reflects horribly on your business..food is good but soooo many other places and pizza places to use..we try to support local businesses but we will no longer dine with you. :-( This is the second time we have had an issue...
Read moreStopped in for lunch today very eager and excited about this new restaurant in downtown Flowery Branch next to the Bank on Atlanta Hyway. Very cool decor with minis and bright wall frescoes with a wood fire oven front and center and a beautiful high end enameled meat slicer from Italy for those paper thin carpaccio slices( mmm) on the counter that reminds one of home. Had the meatball appetizer it was excellent w/ 3 huge meatballs with a delicate lighter Pomodoro style gravy( sauce ) that was flavorful and fresh with roasted garlic and fresh herbs that were not lost in the sauce I swear I could taste a hint of toasted pine nuts too! Had the caprice salad that was not the traditional version of alternating tomato , fresh mozzarella and fresh basil but served American style with fresh romaine as a salad for 2 very tasty but I still prefer the old way as my favorite meal. On the table there were cruets of EVOO and Modena balsamic for pizza bread dipping while you wait for the order . Plenty of parking in front and side There is a bar with beer and wine and a good expresso machine for some great Italian coffee Wish them many years of happiness and prosperity and Welcome to the...
