We recently had the opportunity to visit and eat at the 4 Elephants Catering, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. From the moment I laid eyes on the beautifully presented dishes, I knew I was in for a culinary treat and delight.

Let’s talk appetizers… The veggie rolls a delightful surprise, with a wonderful crunch and a bright, fresh flavor that provided a nice counterpoint to the other dishes. The shrimp spring rolls, with a delicate wrapper encasing fresh, plump shrimp and crisp vegetables. The flavors were wonderfully balanced, and the accompanying dipping sauce complemented the rolls perfectly. Next, the kalapao, a traditional Lao steamed bun, was an absolute revelation. The soft, pillowy bun wrapped around a savory and satisfying filling, making for a truly satisfying bite.

Now the entries…the chicken fried rice was simply outstanding, with a wonderful wok-fried flavor and a delightful mix of ingredients and aromas that kept me going back for more. The lao ribs, outstanding, tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, they boasted a complex blend of spices that had my taste buds singing.

And, last but not least, dessert, the mango rice dessert was a refreshing and sweet end to the meal, with the fragrant mango complementing the perfectly cooked rice.

Overall, our experience was exceptional. The attention to detail, the use of high-quality ingredients, and the skilled preparation of each dish resulted in a truly memorable meal. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an authentic and delicious Lao culinary experience. Congrats to Janny and Jannette Xayavongsa and the rest of the team for an...

When I first looked at the menu I thought the prices were high.. But when I saw the quantity of each dish and how delicious the majority of our meal was, the price was well worth it.

The papaya salad had an excellent depth of flavor. I like spice so I didn’t think it was too spicy but the spice will build as you eat it. It came with a spring roll and a side of rice. Both of which will help ease the level of spice if you are sensitive to it. The salad also came with a bunch of side sauces that were yummy but really not needed unless you used it with the rice alone.

The veggie spring roll appetizer was delicious, plenty filled, and you got 5! Came with sweet chili sauce.

The chicken kalapao was only okay to me but other people at my table loved it. It had a mild flavor but the bun was nice and fluffy. It came with a side of chili oil.

The Lao coffee was phenomenal! Highly recommend trying. It came with coffee jelly so be prepared for that but it made the coffee all the better. The strawberry drink was good. It was sweet but not overly sweet and had plenty of filling but no where near as good as the ice coffee.

We also got pad Thai & mango sticky rice. Both no photo sadly. The pad Thai was absolutely delicious. Packed with flavor, a mild heat but the portion was huge. I didn’t like the mango sticky rice. The rice was over cooked, mushy and gummy at the same time. Not a pleasant texture and it could have used more sauce. But the mango was very fresh and ripe.

Overall I highly recommend trying this place out and my table of friends will for...

From the moment I arrived in the restaurant, I was greeted by a very professional and warming staff. I was sat at the bar because it was a very busy day, there was some kind of festival happening downtown. I ordered my food which included the Papaya Salad, Steak Larb and Oxtail Pho.

The Papaya Salad was traditionally made with the fermented fish sauce, and it was absolutely delicious! The chef even came out to make sure that I had had it made that way, which I thought was absolutely incredible.

The Steak Larb was so fresh and abundant flavor and it was absolutely delicious and an absolute must try if you go to the establishment.

Now let’s talk about the Oxtail Pho…. The broth was absolutely so full of flavor I could have just had that and been extremely happy. The meats and the other toppings were absolutely divine, and this is probably some of the best Pho I have ever had!!! The meatballs were probably homemade, and were soooooo good!!

I strongly recommend this place if you are visiting or want to make a special trip as I did. I drove for over an hour just to eat at four elephants, and it did not disappoint!!!

And I also took some Nam Balls to go!!! TO DIE FOR!!! Thank you for an amazing dining...

Went here for lunch after driving past this quaint restaurant a few weeks ago. I ordered their Nam Khao rice plate which came with a veggie eggroll on the side. I was surprised with the portion size of the meal being worth the $20. The eggroll was crisp and delicious while the rice was savory and filling thanks to the pickled pork and peanuts mixed in. The interior was simple yet nice with restaurant logo on the wall and the Laotian flag. It's nice seeing other Asian restaurants in the area besides the usual Chinese and Japanese ones. Service was also excellent with the staff being very welcoming and providing answers to what Laotian cuisine entails. Overall, a good experience all around and I look forward to try what else they offer in the menu.
