Flowery Branch Bay Park — Attraction in Buford

If you are looking for a quiet, secluded, fishing pier to catch some sun and some family fun and memories then this is the spot. Location has a fenced in play area for the kids to swing and slide and you could even let the dogs run around and stretch their legs some. No Swimming in this area though. Lots of turtles and some water snakes have been seen swimming in the local nearby water. If you walk up the tracks some there's some smaller secluded "lakes" on the other side and lots of fish in them as well. Plenty of Crappie in those smaller "lakes" especially by the Culver pipes 👍 just requires plenty of walking (100yrds or so) Enjoy...

I clean up trash from time to time . as a mom of a one year old there are hundreds of cigarette butts everywhere and some times glass

Up date sep5 2017 park is filthy with trash everywhere cigarettes butts every where. And some cans full of house items as if they use they park cans for their home trash. Its a shame this park is so nice and quiet yet its filthy and no way to contact any one for maintace for trash or red...

I live down the street and walk through here daily. Well used area for fishing, playground, and outdoor casual parties but in need of updating and repair. Paved areas need pressure washing or redoing. Could use an additional trash can. Potential to be a pretty place if Flowery Branch brings this up to the level of the rest of their downtown...
