I phoned in my order. One pick two and a BLT with Avocado and chips, added a brownie and 2 sweet teas. I pre-paid for my order. I drove over, the counter girl prepared my teas, then handed me bags and a brownie that she then put into the bag. I left. Pulling into my office I looked down and realized she'd given me someone else's order. I u-turned and headed back. She thanked me, we traded bags and I went back to my office. It was then I realized the brownie was never changed over to my bags. After eating I went back to get my brownie. THIS. THIS is when the same girl was so rude she helped me decide to go to the equally close-by McAllister's if I ever go back at all. When she saw me coming in--she made a face...I quietly stepped up and said, "Hey, you put my brownie in the other bags and I'm just gonna grab another one". In the rudest tone in front of another customer she spouted OUT LOUD, "I put your brownie in your hand". Of course, I reminded her that she put it in the bag. At that point when I told her I was getting my brownie, that SHE put in the WRONG order's bag that I had to BRING BACK--she said, "FINE, go ahead" with muccccch attitude. That really made me mad, especially because she behaved that way in front of another customer. Very embarrassing. I did make a comment after getting my brownie, "I guess you're saying it's my fault all that happened? I mean, really, where is customer service these days? Not too long ago, something would have been complimentary for my troubles--a tea, the brownie, an apology--none of those today. Lastly, the man who took my order, nor the cashier offered a receipt for my pre-paid order nor was it included in my bag, wrong or right bag. I have no idea how much I spent. Won't be back to that location. Too many...
Read moreI have ordered from this location every week since 2017. Recently there have been several issues with ordering ahead of time online. I put my order in at 9 am on Friday June 19, 2020 to pick up curbside at 12:15 noon time . I came to the location at 12 noon and was instructed that i would have to wait. No problem, I waited 35 mins and asked what was the issue and THEN was informed that they were short staffed. I stated, ok THATS FINE, and i would contact them on another day to just pick up the ORDER THAT WAS PAID FOR IN FULL. I CALLED THEM TODAY. I spoke with the manager Dwayne and he was very nice and informed me to call back at 11:30am to place my order over the phone. WHY NOT THEN at 9:03AM?? I called back and there was an issue with the system. I gave them a call back at 11:39 and HE WAS GONE ACCORDING TO the cashier. It's very disappointing when you have loyaly supported a establishment and wanted to resolve the issue numerous times eventhough it was very incompetant and the issue was never resolved correctly. I will gladly accept my REFUND and wish this establishment was back...
Read moreMediocre food with a side of racism. They got the order wrong and the service staff was rude when asked to clear a table. The server told my senior citizen mom to stand and wait while they get to it. Then they proceeded to clear every table but the one we were standing next to. Wrote into corporate, but got no response.
Editing this review on 12/31. I did get a message back from McAlister's regarding this issue. It said to reach out to them if they could do anything. I did reach out to them regarding some racial sensitivity training, and a bot wrote back to say that I should reach out to them if they could do anything. It also apologized for any inconvenience. Thank god for the racially sensitive bots.
Note: This account is solely dedicated to highlight the very rare incidents of racism that I've faced at establishments in Flowood or nearby. And it is rare. I'm simply too lazy to list all the restaurants and establishments that have treated me with courtesy and respect. They far outshine the bad. However, this is 2020 and this s* is...
