I have been dying to try A’ha Bistro in Flowood since they purchased the building from Saigon Restaurant. I had high hopes because they had a 4.9 star rating and probably shouldn’t have-- Maybe their other dishes or breakfast items rated them a 4.9 but this was not a 4.9 experience. Anyhow, the service was a 3ish – I had to ask for my Pho trimmings and didn’t know we had to pay up front until we saw other patrons walk up front. They have Pepsi fountain products and they do have bottled Coke products along with other bottled products (because they are also a bakery) in case you need to know these things. We ordered: Spring Rolls – They had full-size shrimp which is a positive (usually restaurants cut them in half) and it had some sort of green leaf lettuce and maybe a hint of arugula or something. That’s it. No noodle or any other herbs. Banh Mi – The meat filling was tasty, the jalapeno did not look fresh and the bread was soft—it was po-boy bread with banh mi fillings. Banh Mi fillings should be on crusty bread. So, if you like your Banh Mi toasted—you will need to request it be made that way (if they do it, I do not know). Toasted is the only way to go when eating a Banh Mi, ijs… Pho – (Short Rib, Steak, and Meatball) – This cost $27 and did not live up to its traditional presentation and flavors. The short rib was decent—I was expecting the beef shank I’ve seen on social media but maybe I ordered the wrong thing. The steak was too well done—I wanted it still cooking in the broth when they bring it to me – probably need to request that next time (if possible). The meatball was literally one (1) meatball cut into fours for $5.00!! The broth was not flavorful, I had to lay it on with the hoisin sauce and sriricha. They did not bring me the side of bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, lime, fresh jalapenos or anything—every place is different as to what they provide as trimmings but I didn’t receive them at all—had to ask for it and when she brought it—she only brought cilantro and bean sprouts. I then had to ask for limes… I don’t think I will be back…

Did a search for donuts near me and this was one of the restaurants that was listed. Menu is varied has the offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. I came in for dinner. Ordered the Aha Special Rice and the egg rolls. Got a lemon filled donut to go. The egg rolls are freshly made and they arrived to the table hot and crispy. The Aha Special Rice is topped with crab, shrimp, crawfish and chicken along with the Aha special sauce which is on the spicy side. It was delicious. Next time I may try it without chicken add extra shrimp. Scallops would be good with it as well. Customer service was awesome. Restaurant was clean. Hope to return soon!

Ordered dinner for the first time- got the shrimp fried rice and spring rolls and my parents got burgers and fries. All were delicious! They kept sneaking spoonfuls of the fried rice but couldn’t keep their comments to themselves about how flavorful it was. The spring rolls were fresh and light with mint and shrimp and a peanut sauce that wasn’t too heavy to overpower the rolls. Ordered to go and was ready quickly and no mistakes, was definitely a wonderful meal. Have tried the glazed donuts as well but itching to try the apple fritter and blueberry cake ones!

A Culinary Masterpiece and Unforgettable Experience

From the moment we stepped into this remarkable establishment, it was evident that we were in for something extraordinary. The ambiance was nothing short of enchanting—a perfect harmony of elegance and warmth, complemented by an atmosphere that invited both relaxation and celebration.

The menu is a testament to culinary artistry, offering a diverse range of options to suit every palate. In our family, each member chose a different dish, and the unanimous verdict was resounding: every bite was perfection. The flavors were sublime, the presentation was impeccable, and the care that went into crafting each plate was palpable. It is rare to find a place where every dish feels like the best you've ever had, yet this restaurant achieved just that.

Adding to the experience was the exceptional service. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing our evening without ever feeling intrusive. The manager, a paragon of kindness, left a lasting impression with their genuine hospitality and ability to make guests feel truly valued.

This restaurant is not just a place to eat; it’s a celebration of food, an ode to excellent service, and a haven of refined atmosphere. It will undoubtedly remain etched in our hearts as one of the finest dining experiences we've had. Highly...

You have to try this place!!! All of it was amazing and on the way out the owner's son gave us some cronuts (crossaint donuts!) for free, such good people!! The new owners took over from their friends that owned Saigon. Their son told us about the transition from the pho Saigon served (a tradition Southern Vietnamese pho with a sweeter broth made with cinnamon and star anise) to A'HAs recipe of traditional Cambodian pho lightly sweetened with cane sugar. I got the chicken pho and my husband got the chicken fried rice. Super delicious!!! 10/10!!!! The pho is some of the best I've ever had and the A'HA seafood sauce served on the fried rice is AMAZING (like a spicier yum-yum since). Awesome boba tea as well! Open 7 days a week and they serve...
