I'm not sure what others are raving about. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing, but I found the dish to taste watered-down and lacking in both flavor and substance.
The dining area had a grubby look to it, and although there were people at only one other table, the one worker I saw was more interested in reading his newspaper than attending to customers' needs. The men's restroom reminded me of one at an old, run-down service station--rarely cleaned--and when I informed the guy that the toilet was backed up (it was like that when I went in), he seemed unconcerned and in no rush to remedy the situation, as he hadn't finished his newspaper.
Since the public areas of the restaurant were in such an unclean condition, it made me wonder what the kitchen looked like--you know, where the food is prepared, back there, unseen by the public? Because I had already finished my meal, I made myself stop thinking about that and just resolved to never return.
I gave it two stars instead of one only because I didn't get sick (a one star situation) and you can't...
Read moreI have eaten here several times and never really cared for it. My last visit, today, was the icing on the cake. I ordered the Char-Grilled Marinated Chicken & Eggroll with steamed rice. It came out looking amazing, but one bite later and I instantly knew that was not chicken. I looked closer at it and it didn't look like chicken, or beef, or pork and it had a very gamey taste. So I got up from my table and approached the lady at the check out counter who blatantly ignored me and even had the audacity to charge me $11 for the meal in which I could not consume. The restaurant was FILTHY, the food was terrible, and the customer service was indigent at best. Do yourself a favor and avoid this rat hole. If you have a hankering for Vietnamese food, give Little Saigon on...
Read moreThe absolute worst food I’ve ever paid for. I did a take out I asked for Thai pho the broth was close to water no flavor and there wasn’t enough hoisin or saracha to add flavor they put the bean sprouts on top of the rotting cilantro. I could go over everything about the pho but let’s just say it was awful. On to the chicken fried rice I asked for very little chicken and to add bean sprouts and the man told me no the bean sprouts had too much water it would make it soggy even morimoto’s restaurant cooked it for me so the rice was like warm at best my guess is that it was in a steam table in the back already made it had more chicken than rice there was no color to it at all it wasn’t made fresh. My advice steer clear of this one especially if you’ve eaten good pho...
