This was such a fun drive-in! Let me start with, the food is fast food. But being from Missouri, we do not have the type of hotdogs Michigan has. Kogels have this nice crisp bite to them. The coney sauce is not like at home where it's a true chili, and this restaurant offers their own hot dog with red sauce, and it's excellent. The fries were fresh and crispy, and the cheese curds were cooked perfectly. I also have to give a shout out to theor diet root beer. It does not taste diet at all. The bad, our waitress was super nice, but wasn't the greatest at refills, kind of just left us hanging. Then, other staff members were filling ketchup and napkins (which is great), but they were talking about other staff members and not in a positive light. Just felt really inappropriate and unprofessional with customers present. And the really bad. I know this place is older. It has history, but the carpeted floors were so sticky that it nearly pulled my flip-flop off. Some minor upkeep would have made a world of difference in my experience with the atmosphere. The walls have a lot of fun retro decorations to look at, which just enhances the nostalgia of going and grabbing a dog. But the cleanliness or lack thereof was a turn-off.

Food was good service was good , however how can you let a car club kick me out of your business because my car is not "old " enough to be there? I was a paying customer sorry I got there just before their 72 and older car club got there to run your paying customer's off , they were arrogant with a bad attitude because they are better than me , and by the way my car is a classic but only an 87 , so I hope you enjoy the repeat business from the car club and not any new business from people in the surrounding areas

The food is fantastic and the service is excellent. Plenty of parking, never saw handicap parking spaces, but I may have missed them. It’s just like the hotdog stands decades ago, when you could order from your car and they’ll bring the food to you. It’s in a beautiful area, but make sure to make a map to it as it’s off the main road. The inside looks great and again, the service inside is fantastic. We ate inside years ago, but continue to get food brought to the car. Highly recommended.

TERRIBLE service, TERRIBLE FOOD. If I could give 0 stars I would. The weight staff was extremely rude, one in particular, a middle aged, heavy set blond haired woman. I see other people have complained about her over the years. She was walking around with a chip the size of Rhode Island on her shoulder, and being rude to everybody. I have never been so disrespected. I just wanted to ask a question and she just lays into me, had no clue what I wanted from her, just started yelling. I asked why she was being so rude, she said because you were. All I said was "excuse me miss", what about that was rude? Of course no response, just walked off to spread her sunshine elsewhere. It shows a true lack of respect and compassion toward the customers that the owners have continued to employ this woman and shame on them for it. She has no business being in customer service, as clearly the customer is a major inconvenience. To make matters worse the food was terrible and had been sitting for quite some time as the cheese was congealed and everything was cold. Not only will I never come here again, I will make sure that everybody I know won't either. KARMA...........just remember lil Miss Sunshine, karma will get you in the end for being such a nasty...

Then as I am talking why in the hell would you be listening to my conversation and say that's not nice to me! I got news for this lady 1. Don't talk to me like I am a child, I am grown I am 35 years old!!!! This lady that has blonde hair has no right to be working at a restaurant with her attitude!! And with me going to the school for the law this is where my knowledge comes in at and I will never ever come back here again! If you can avoid getting service from the older lady that has...
