I guess we caught this place on an off day. I got the meatball and my wife got the Triple Deli Classic. Let's start with the meatball. My sandwich came out with cold and very dry bread that lacked any kind of taste. The meatballs were identical to Subway and were barely warm. The sauce was okay, very similar to Lenny's meatball sauce. If it had cheese on it, I couldn't find it. The triple was MASSIVE. But it too suffered from dry bread that seemed to be old and have been sitting out. The turkey and roast beef lacked any kind of flavor. We got fries, there was nothing special with them. They had no seasoning, no salt, no nothing. They were nothing noteworthy. We have read about Jon Smith Subs in other locations and we were excited to try something new in Foley. We were sadly let down. The food was not worth the $42 we paid. Again, we may have caught them on a bad day since all other reviews are prestigious, unless those are employees, friends or family. The staff seemed to be in a trance and in their own worlds. Three environment just seems hollow and every little sound resonates off the walls and floor, and it was had to carry a conversation. Sadly, I think this will be another unsuccessful...
Read moreFirst and foremost, this is a veteran run establishment! This is a must stop when at the water park. Because who doesn’t love a good sub after playing the the pool!?! The staff is amazing and very helpful! The food is prepared fresh and as ordered! The manager even came out and check on us as we were eating!
The menu is well laid out and easy to read. The portions are great sizes and the fries the best with Cajun seasoning. I recommend “The Bomb” sub, its a great Philly style sub! You can also have any sub turned into a salad!
The seating area and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. They have a great playlist of Christian music...
Read moreSteak bomb is definitely a BOMB. 2x 6in sandwichs $24, as it would have been around $40-$45 with fries, chips, and/or drinks!!! Lol. Steak was flavorless, and honestly almost nonexistent. I literally laughed as I ate it, as I couldn't believe the portions. Honestly, I mean this in a nice way, either compete and give a good value, or you will be gone just like most things at OWA. I believe in 2nd chances, but I expect the next visit will be like the first. No flavor, taste, spice, texture.....might as well put raisins in the...
