My Husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time last week and let me tell you EVERY TIME WE GO TO FOLEY WE ARE GOING TO WAFFLES R WILD! You hear me! As southerners that know food we know when others can cook and yes they can. (We ate here TWO DAYS IN A ROW IT WAS SO GOOD & we enjoyed our experience)

Atmosphere: Very family Friendly, New Orleans / Speak easy Vibe was aligned with their brand.

Customer Service: We were greeted and CATERED TOO! Danielle the owner checked on us and all the guests there. That speaks volumes especially today when good customer service is hard to find.

Breakfast Buffet: The Buffet was delightful and well priced. Fresh French Toast (the best we’ve had yet) perfect mixture, Hearty grits. Fresh scrambled eggs, meat of choice, fried chicken, and waffles with all the toppings for $20 bucks! Come on you can’t beat that. We love supporting Family Owned businesses. As residents of Louisiana- we say well done. Keep doing what you’re doing! Your service, food, and location is spectacular. Very Clean and pristine. IF YOU VISIT OWA make sure you stop by WAFFLES R WILD, tell them Ebonie sent ya!

Ps. The Waffledilla & Omelette were amazing. Fresh ingredients cooked...

Well to start, it literally took 35 minutes to get drinks. Although it was a party of 12, 35 minutes is a bit too long ??? Then after our drinks finally made it out, it took another 20 minutes, to actually get someone to our table to take our food order. Then once the food came out, some of the orders were not complete, there just was a lot of confusion and what’s really ironic about it, is that there was not enough customers dining in to make this such a complicated experience. It was not busy, so I’m really not sure why they were having such difficulties trying to get drinks and orders from our table. My daughter had the wild ranch tacos and guess what there were gnats all in her plate. I think we found out where the culprit was, because there was an old to go box, sitting on the window sill, behind our table, I’m sure if you go there now, the box will still be sitting behind the chair on the window sill near the exit of the restaurant. I wanted to like this restaurant, but the cleanliness, the customer service, the wait time and overall quality of the food was just not up to par. I know it sounds harsh, but it’s my honest...

It is hard to describe just how much I enjoy this place. Each time I go, I fall in love with their staff more and more. They are the kindest, hardest working folks around. Yeah, sometimes they are overwhelmed due to the number of patrons, but one would be hard pressed to find this not happening at every restaurant in the area - we ARE a resort destination, after-all. Besides the staff being so amazing, there are some things on their menu that I plan on ordering way before I return because there are certain things that cannot be beat. Their nachos are amazing, the fish tacos are to die for, even their sweet potato fries! But, let me tell you about the desserts! Holy Moly! Oh my goodness, the brownie waffle with ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate syrup - need I say more??? The peanut butter waffle??? So, even if you don't go there to order a meal, the desserts are worth a visit any time you want something unique and delicious! Hats off to Danielle, Roxanne, Mike, Fran, and Hunter. You are some of my favorite people on the planet, and I am so happy to have found this gem of...

I was hesitant to come here because the reviews are pretty good but some say they food wasn’t seasoned and the service wasn’t slow. That was NOT our experience. We are locals we had 7 of us come in on a Saturday evening. Service was fantastic. The food…was so GOOD! We got a lot of it. We had the nachos, waffle bites and fries with queso and bacon for appetizers. We got chicken and waffles, onion rings, tacos, the Mac and cheese tastes like my mommas does. We tried savory and sweet waffles. Out of 7 people and everyone trying each plate no one had a complaint. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the portions were huge. The wait for food was not long at all, they only had 3 tables but all were bigger parties. We all left very full and will definitely return. The drink selection and decor was great too!

stumbled on this place with my wife after we checked out of our hotel trying to kill some time before heading to the airport after seeing the Sand In My Boots festival. I'm so glad we stopped here because the food was amazing and so was the service and ambiance. We sat at the bar and ordered our food and drinks and then I read the cover of the menu that shared the story of how this Speak Easy came to be and I casually asked the server/bartender if she knew the owners personally or was part of the family directly and unbeknownst to me she was Danielle (the owner) and she was serving, bartending, and hosting! She did such an amazing job and the food and drinks were amazing! I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back next time we visit!

Today was our first time trying this restaurant. We are locals and saw a Mother's Day advertisement, so we thought we'd give it a try. We made reservations too. Upon arriving, we waited a few minutes and then were seated. We received our drinks pretty quickly, but then waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken and then another 20 minutes for the food to be served. This restaurant is badly understaffed, especially since they advertised a Mother's Day event. The food is okay, but overpriced in my opinion. The french toast was delicious. At this point, I'm not sure we'd return due to poor service. Also, our meal was almost $60 for 3 people, but they still charged a credit card fee. Ridiculous, because who actually carries cash nowadays?
