Went into store to redeem their most recent promotion of a free replacement meal. While the cashier was ring it up, she was extremely nice, the manager (Joshua) came to the register and snatched the receipt & coupon out of her hand. He said "we are NOT honoring this coupon". When I asked why he said they would not honor it because the original order was placed online. My wife is a school teacher at Foley Elementary School and that is the only way the teachers at these schools that Zaxbys "supposedly" is SO PROUD to sponsor according to this website can order and be able to eat lunch. When I picked up the food for my wife and other teachers that day the cashier stapled the coupon to the online order receipt and told me to come back during these certain dates and they would be happy to replace the order for free. This manager tonight was EXTREMELY rude. When I asked him why, he just said he was not going to honor the coupon, period. I then got upset and asked him for his District Manager's phone number which he refused to give me. He said if I wanted to call anyone I could call their customer service dept. I asked for that phone number and he started spouting it off. I then told him not to call it off, but to write it down. He stated "I am not writing it down for you. If you want the number you can walk over there and get a card out of the box." This manager doesn't need to be dealing with the public at all. He needs to be in some sort of job, maybe collecting trash on the side of the road, where he doesn't have to deal with people. If you are expecting Zaxbys to honor any coupons don't count on it. All they want is your money and then you are no longer important or worth their time. I would suggest that all the teachers at these different schools find some place different to order from. Their all kinds of other restaurants in town. As long as this manager is their I won't be back. I told him I was going to tell everyone I knew how he treated me and he told me to tell the "whole city, he...
Read moreSo many times in this area i go to different restaurants because single people don't cook for themselves. We always get great restaurants with great products in Foley but for some reason they lack the motivated workers to pull it off. Just last week i tried going to little Cesar's twice both times horrible service and I went there other times horrible service with a great product. I went to school for hospitality management and 4 years experience in the hospitality industry including being the bottom guy to the GM of a hotel. The hotels i worked for i got great reviews for providing quality service. I don't say this to brag on myself by any means but to let it be known that i'm not ignorant into how the industry works. When I pulled up to Zaxby's there is one car in front of me so its slow. The car in front of me almost shut down zaxby's with the amount of food they ordered. Even though they ordered a lot i still was able to get my food very fast in a timely manner. So fast that I was actually surprised. When I pulled up i was expecting for the employees to be goofing off not making good use of there time.Especially with it being at night with out upper management being there. I was greeted with a smile from the cashier and what seemed like to be the MOD. I am very happy with the service I received tonight and whoever was leading the show needs a good pat on the back $$. I don't even really normally eat at Zaxby's but i...
Read moreI’m a delivery driver and this is literally the only restaurant in Foley, Gulf Shores, or Orange Beach that I’ve picked up from that will make you wait in an extremely long drive thru line just to pick up an order. The manager or whoever answered the phone was extremely rude and claimed she was also a delivery driver. She also claimed that every restaurant made you wait in the drive-thru line for a delivery order. Not true at all. For example, Zaxby’s in Gulf Shores has allowed me to call from the pickup parking and will bring out orders or allow me to walk in and pick up an order, myself, so the customers aren’t having to wait when they already called ahead. It makes no sense to make delivery drivers wait in a long line when the order has already been placed, is sitting inside ready to go, and will be cold by the time it’s delivered to a customer. Not to mention it’s wasting the delivery drivers time who could be doing several other orders from stores when they make their money 100% tip based. As a delivery driver, she should have known that. Step it up,...
