Was not good, when we walked in the server said sit where you want we checked a couple tables all were sticky and not wiped down. There were only a few people there and we sat for 10 to 15 minutes while talked to what looked to be friends at the other table before he came up and gave us menus. 1st drinks ordered wasn't bad, the 2nd round my mule tasted straight like dish soap. When I told the server he seemed annoyed and said okay... I asked please take it off the tab which they did but no sorry for that or apology he just asked a few minutes later did you want another one of those? I said no. My wife and I got the Mac and cheese burgers ordered the burgers medium they came out completely burnt and charred no flavor no seasoning juts a frozen patty thrown on the grill until black and charred. The Mac and cheese bites put on the burger were super dry and for some reason tasted like vinegar. I'll give some credit bacon and sauce was good on the burger. My wife ordered tots and got fries, when he dropped the plates I told those are supposed to be tots he said oh and walked off no let me fix that or anything? I got garlic fries and the fries for both my wife had a weird chemical taste like maybe a cleaner in the fryer that wasn't properly washed but idk. By the soapy mule I got, chemical weird tasting fries, sticky tables, and dry Mac and cheese bites on the burgers that tasted like vinegar for some odd reason maybe they are cleaning but not following through idk... When the soapy drink and wrong side was pointed out to the server he just seemed annoyed by us and didn't offer to make anything right. This place is gross! Don't waste...
Read moreThe decor is modern rustic, with copper and reclaimed wood accents. The place is chill and relaxing but not pretentious. WIth so many TVs it's hard to find a bad seat in the house. The food is not bar food but well executed comfort food. Bone marrow, duck tots, fried green tomatoes, watermelon radish shrimp tacos, jambalaya and siracha wings are just some of the unique dishes that sets this place far apart from others in the area. The food tastes fresh, overhead the staff tell another table they don't even have a freezer, everything is made from scratch. The namesake mules are on point, not too strong but def not weak, just strong enough for all the flavors to pop through. Some very creative combinations of libations. The staff is friendly and checks on you often. They really care and want to be sure you're enjoying your meal and if not they want to know how to make it right. It's no wonder there is a steady stream of customers, many of them return customers it seems. At the moment they are still waiting for their signage, heard about the place by word of mouth and I'm grateful for the recommendation. Looking forward to many more visits to see what the mixologist and chef comes up with next. Also, that patio looks like it has a lot of potential, curious to see what the owner has in mind for it. Take the overly critical reviews with a grain of salt, some people are hard to please. Comparing to the other options in the area, this place is hard to beat. Oh and don't forget the creek trail goes right behind this place, perfect place to stop by after you work up an appetite or are thirsty...
Read moreWe came by for UFC fight night after eyeing this location for a long time. TLDR: Fairly good food with a few sour apples, service was strange, lots of events!
Our server (who I guess was Magby from the receipt) was interesting to say the least. He was at our table often, but he didn’t seem very friendly / personable. Maybe an off night? Hard to tell.
There were Bacardi representatives giving out free shots of their mango Bacardi when the fights began. Hey free alcohol is free alcohol - props to HOM for getting events like that set up.
Fries seem like a place that could use some help. Our garlic fries were very soggy, and our friend’s sweet potato fries came out burnt first. Once replaced, the new sweet potato fries weren’t very good at all. The deep fried Oreos were also really bad. Soggy, no crunch and had very little flavor - disappointing as a dessert.
Our grilled steak sandwich was the highlight of the night. It was amazing, lots of flavor and cooked to perfection. Would recommend 1000/10. Drinks were also top notch, very refreshing and with a fair pour on the alcohol.

Grilled steak sandwich 5/5 with garlic fries 2/5 (soggy)
House of mules burger with sweet potato fries (fries burnt first, then eh after replaced) 4/5
Deep fried Oreo 1.5/5 (No good)
