To complement my burger, I indulged in an Oreo shake, and I have to say, it was nothing short of heavenly. The shake was incredibly creamy, and the crushed Oreos added a delightful crunch that took it to a whole new level. I couldn't help but savor every sip. In fact, I believe it's safe to say that this shake stands as the best I've ever had. A must-try for any milkshake enthusiast!

Read moreExtremely disappointed! Neighbors recommended Wayback Burgers, although they did mention the last time they were there, they were a little disappointed, that it wasn't a good as before. I decided to take a chance as I love a good hamburger. I ordered a Single Classic with an order of Tater Tots. $7.59 for the hamburger and $3.69 for the Tots. With a 15% tip, the total came to $13.84. Ordered take out as I only live less than a mile away. Most of the tables were taken and there was one pickup. Other than that, it wasn't all that busy. Didn't think it would take that long, so I waited standing at the counter. Well, It started to take longer than I thought, finally they handed me the bag with my order in it. When I got home, the hamburger was stone cold. The 10 tater tots were also cold. I didn't want to reheat in the microwave so I only ate half of the hamburger and all of the 10 tater tots. Meat on the hamburger would have been better if it wasn't over cooked. The sides were almost burnt, and it was overloaded with mayo and ketchup. The best part of the hamburger was the bun, it was tastie even though it was cold. The tater tots were also good, they didn't have that after taste that some have from the oil being used to heat them. They too would have been better if they were on the hot side. For what I paid and what I received, it wasn't worth the money! I still can not get over they charge $3.69 for 10 Tater Tots. I'll give the place the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to being an "off" night. Don't know if I'd go back to Wayback though, or even recommend the place. ...
Read moreThis place used to be good but seems like it's gone downhill. We really liked this place because they served the milkshakes in a metal mixer cup and it was a true large milkshake. Tonight they served our milkshakes in a small plastic to-go cup which was about half the size of the metal cup. That was a letdown! We were the first order of 4 tables in the restuarant at 445pm and it took WAY-TO-LONG (20 mins) for our order to get to our table. Our fries were half cold half warm, but not hot. My chicken sandwich was WAY-OVERCOOKED, super dry and missing the grilled mushrooms I paid for. My son's crispy chicken sandwich was a soggy chicken sandwich. They remade the crispy chicken sandwich and it came out burnt or over fried and tasted like burnt dirt. You know you left something in the fryer WAAAAAY-TO-LONG if the batter tastes burnt. At that point we just wanted a refund and wanted to leave. I felt like the lady cooking didn't have enough experience and her timing was WAY-OFF on when to drop things in the fryer and how long to grill the chicken breast. Bummer I really liked this place, but I doubt we will make our WAY BACK...
