BIG fans of la fiesta alteña. my family and i have been coming here for years, and it just keeps getting better and better. i also couldn’t believe i hadn’t written a yelp review about this place; it’s just too dang good. FOOD if your mouth isn’t salivating over the pics drive yourself on down here during breakfast, lunch, or dinner & find out for yourself. it’s always packed because it’s always delicious. their salsa bar is always fantastic. make sure to get a salsa cup of bean dip (adjacent to the salsa bar) with a sprinkle of cheese, and send your taste buds into orbit. their *new* chips are absolutely fantastic — the perfect vessels for salsa and beans! try anything, because it’s all absolutely fantastic, fresh, and always flavorful. they also bust the food out quick, which is great when you have an empty belly. great options for kids and the pickiest of eaters! SERVICE one thing i love about this place is you feel like family. everyone is so kind, friendly, and welcoming. PARKING lots of parking — if it’s a busy day, there’s an additional lot nearby! SEATING tons of inside and outside seating (with shade!). AMBIANCE catch your favorite futbol game on the TVs inside. there’s also a beautiful mural painted on the wall of folsom when you walk in. the staff are great about cleaning the tables, and keeping the restaurant clean. will likely go back again later this week. we love supporting our favorite local spots — especially when they check all the boxes!

This is my favorite taqueria in Folsom. And seems to be for a lot of other folks as well. They draw a crowd. The food is delicious and the prices are taqueria priced. My faves are the seafood ceviche tostada, asada crispy taco, and menudo (served on the weekends). The seafood ceviche is a combination of octopus, shrimp, and fish. It tasted so fresh, clean, and bright. Plus had the perfect amount of cilantro, some places overload it with ceviche. On my last visit, the ceviche was piled onto the tostada. Beautiful. The crispy taco is always a good standby. Fresh fried taco shells. All the meats are seasoned and marinated well. Great flavors. The menudo is delicious, and only served on the weekends. The complimentary chips and salsa bar are fantastic. The chips are fresh tasting. They are kept in an enclosed warmer. The salsa bar is plentiful with various salsas. But no salsa verde. Plus do not sleep on the complimentary bean dip. It is in a warmer to the left of the salsa bar. That stuff is delish. Another cool thing about this place is that they have an outdoor patio with a good number of seats. Shade is provided by sun umbrellas with a smaller section in front under the building awning.

Its good! The presidente was my favorite. Really basic ingredients, grilled tortilla, 🍤, cheese, and a smoky Chipotle sauce. The super Taco was a lot of lettuce so it turned into a taco salad which was a bonus. The Pastor was the winner of the meat contest between pastor and asada. Free chips and salsa with purchase which were Self serve so I did not feel shamed going for seconds😋. I am not a huge fan of the soupy salsa, so the lime avocado cilantro was my go to. The food was brought out as it was ready (1-2 items at a time). it was hot and came out fast. They had outdoor seating that when the weather permits is a great option. Next time I go I will stick to the street tacos and try different meats along with my presidente. Enjoy!

This place is horrible. My daughter & I went in because we called about dollar tacos on Tuesday & were told yes they had them & no specific time. We drive all the way over there & the girl with red hair & a bun & glasses wouldn’t give us dollar tacos. She said it was 9:03 & we were too late. She was so rude & this place clearly doesn’t want business to turn away customers. We will never go back here again & will tell everyone how horrible this place is. And to the owner. My daughter left a true review about the rude customer service there & how dare you say anything about alcohol. We never asked for any alcohol!!! We called & came for the taco Tuesday. You and your employees are rude. Horrible place!!!! Don’t go there, choose a better Mexican restaurant.

Ok well here’s what’s going on. If you look at this owners response to negative reviews...it’s crazy. Whoever owns this place has serious problems. I’m reporting you to the better business bureau for...
