China Wok — Restaurant in Fontana

This place is ok. And if youre ok with paying for ok then great. But everything looked cold when i walked in. Nothing looked appetizing. I got the teriyaki chicken and sesame chicken. Bother were cold and chewy. Rice was good but anyone can do that. It may have been better if the food was cooked more fresh and thrown out if its been sitting but hey if you want to risk spending your money just to have sub par food go ahead. The staff was very nice no issues there but food should be a priority when it comes to freshness. I will say it was during a slow period. I was the only one in there. One reason i avoid Chinese food these days is because its just not as good as it use to be when i was young. Id rather just go to panda express, at least they have guidelines when it comes to how long food can sit and temperature of your food will be hot.

Long story short: all the food looked like it had been sitting under those lights for 45+ mins. Took a risk, didnt pay off....

We decided to try this place for the first time and it was a mistake. We thought the food would be fresh if we went right when they open. We were wrong. The food looked and tasted like it was reheated from the night before, or even a week before. That’s how disgusting it was. Would not recommend....

Idk if it’s the nostalgia or because I grew up in southridge and this was literally the only spot where we could get Chinese food. But man this place is so good. I’ve had Chinese food here and there from Los Angeles and even states on the east coast and nothing compared...
