El Baja — Restaurant in Fontana

I arrived with my family to celebrate special occasion, ordered food and mentioned to the waitress that my son is allergic to shrimp. She stated to get a quesadilla with no fries since a fries were made in the same oil as the shrimp. We said okay, that's your recommendation so we'll do that. When the food arrived my son took a bite of the quesadilla and start an allergic reaction. We mentioned this to the waitress and she stated that my son had the fries but the plate had no fries because we ordered just a quesadilla like she recommended. My wife mentioned to her to remove the plate and remove the quesadilla from the bill. Then she stated that it was our fault and that she would not remove the quesadilla from our bill and we would have to pay for it. She walked away and for the rest of the day she decided not to ask if I needed anything and never refilled my drink. When it was time to pay I offered to pay with my credit card for the entire order but she decided to take my family members credit card because she knew I wasn't going to leave her a tip for her bad service. My family member never notice the entire incident so that's why he wanted to tip her. He offered $20 tip but told him to keep it and she would just charge it to his credit card. I believe she knew that after I talk to my family member he would ask for it back. So she made it difficult to do that so that's why she charged his card and not mine and added the tip to the card. I spoke to the manager about the incident and he told me he would talk to her I waited and he never did. He apologized once and that was it. Lucky my wife has medication for my son and was able to calm his allergic reaction. So if you plan to go to this place be careful they don't take allergies serious and customer service sucks.

They wouldn't remove a $5 quesadilla so now they will loose hundreds and maybe thousands for people who read this post and care for a restaurant that has respect and offers better customer service. GO ELSEWHERE where they respect your family and hard...

Today I finally decided to eat out with my family so we decided to go get some mariscos and this place came up that was close by. As we get to the restaurant they try to sit us down in a small white plastic table when we asked if we can sit in one of the other tables. The girl seemed to be bothered by it as we also asked for a high chair for my daughter. The waitress then came to ask for our drinks as I order a mango michelada and water, my fiance just order a agua de horchata. Drinks came out pretty quick but only the michelada and the agua de horchata but the water never got to the table. Once the waitress took our food order I asked for the water once more as I took a drink of my michelada and let me tell you this was the worst Michelada I have ever tasted. The only good thing about the drink was the mango and cucumbers it came with other then that i didn't even mind drinking it and was still waiting for my water. As the food came out quick my water didn't. My fiance just gave up on the water and went to the car to get a water bottle for me and my daughter. Now let's talk about the food I ordered a dozen of oysters and yes they were good I mean you prepare it yourself right and my order of tostada mixta didn't have any flavor at all tried to add lemon and salt to at least get something out of it. As I was eating my oysters I ask for a sprite to 3 different waitress when the last waitress actually brought me my drink when I was basically done with my food it only took around 40 mins to get a drink that's great right. Then we ask for the check and I expected to pay a pretty big amount cause what I order wasn't cheap and I would of not mind paying the $70 for the food I paid for but I expect it to be worth it. I payed with 4 $20 so that was $80 and I never saw my change seems like they forgot all about it or maybe the waitress just decided to keep it do to providing such an amazing service ?..

This was one of the worst experiences ever. First we made a reservation for 10 we specifically when making the reservation to not sit us on a booth as we will have a baby with is, first thing they did sit us in a booth. We asked them to move us and they told us we had to wait till everyone was seated... excuse me isn't this why I made a reservation?? We finally get seated and our waiter takes about 30 min., to even say hi or acknowledge us yes i understand it was a big event and there were lots of guest but 30 min.?? We order our food it tasted NASTY!! My niece ordered a salad they didn't even bring her dressing my rice was mushy and my beans were sour!! again gross!! Than the performer Jenni Rivera look a like or wanna be look alike approaches my daughter and tells her she is cheap cause my daughters gave her a few $$ and they were not 20.00 bills than she approaches my niece and spills alcohol all over her mind you my niece is only 17 years old. Oh did I forget the part where they asked me if I wanted to sit at the bar and I told them I couldn't cause I had minors with me and it was illegal and they said it was still ok... I had to kindly decline but they still spilled alcohol on my minor nieces face!! Oh and if you are wondering where the mom and I were during the alcohol incident we were in the restroom. Or all hell would have broke loose. Over all not a good experience!! and will probably never go back especially because they have no worry about minors in the building!!

Forgot to mention with all of us we spent well over 800.00 dlls and they still over charged us like 100.00. We both birthday shots and they bring them out with no music no nothing the way it...
